It's a filter. Go back to the original message, hit reply, and then you will see what was really written. However, I think "male route" is funnier in this instance. ;)
Re: The Fall of Capitalism
come on. just like I said on the Palin Shirt, Woot isn't the proper forum for political bias. please don't bring the election into the derbies, it makes everyone edgy. aside from that, you've got a celebrity likeness on your shirt even if it weren't political. if you want to argue politics, go find another website, no need to spoil the fun at woot by bringing politics into the game.
Re: Alien Attack (BROWN COW)
great shirt, I love your style of art. this shirt definitely deserves more votes.

Now you've done it. You had to go and call him a 'celebrity'.
Re: Pac Man
I was gonna vote for this one, cause I think it's a great idea, but then I was thrown off by the fact that Pacman *couldn't* have gotten to where he is... there should be a path cleared of dots to him... But it's a great idea. :-)
sargentmatt wrote:I seem to get a variation of that sentiment a lot. If only it would come true...
yeah, unfortunately I can only give you one vote. and... apparently my taste doesn't mesh well with that of woot's majority. my shirt isn't do too hot either. but, I can't complain as it's doing better than my other shirts. so long as you don't give up and keep getting better, it's not a total loss right?
bpeterson82 wrote:strongly agree, maybe if someone was about to push or is pushing a button while it is freaking out...i dunno...i think the panic button is an obvious concept for this derby, just not really executible in reality.
Thanks for the comments. I agree that it's not as button-like as it probably could be, but everyone I've shown this to out of context immediately said "panic button".
Re: I Only Panicked for a Minute...
Great artwork! I want this!
ISO30 wrote:I'm not the most politically astute, but isn't government-controlled healthcare (and pretty much every other area where the government controls what could otherwise managed by economics) basically a form of communism? Maybe I need to subscribe to a political blog or something, llo
I think what many Americans fear with this govt. bailout is that it leads the country on "the slippery slope to socialism". There are differences between socialism and communism, but I think the one that most pertains to what you are asking is: communists assert that both capitalism and private ownership of means of production must be done away with as soon as possible in order to make sure a classless society, the communist ideal, is formed. Socialists, however, see capitalism as a possible part of the ideal state and believe that socialism can exist in a capitalist society. In fact, one of the ideas of socialism is that everyone within the society will benefit from capitalism as much as possible as long as the capitalism is controlled somehow by a centralized planning system.
That being said, this shirt is male and I can't believe people are voting for it.

art, what color green IS that shirt?
borsht wrote:Well I would agree that this shirt might provoke panic among many US americans... but Obama a communist? What an idiocy! Btw - the shirt is ugly too.
The actual panic isn't that Obama is a Commie. It's that ignorant Americans actually believe that, and will vote McCain based on racism and false beliefs. Now THERE is some panic.

Argh! I can't believe I missed that. And just past the deadline too. Oh well.
AttilaTheMom wrote:art, what color green IS that shirt?
grass, according to my handy dandy coloriffic woot template! maybe mine's old but pantone 7489C
I'd wear this because it would piss off all the d-bags on the right more than the d-bags on the left. And I love the colors. That being said, it's only a matter of time before this gets the big red letters.
Re: BAN-1
My biggest moments of panic have come from those blue and red devil lights.
Re: Bombs Away 2!!
I for one never panic at the sight of bombs. I welcome them with open arms like this gentleman.
Patagonia did this already...I own it. http://tinyurl.com/4ynfvf Great shirt though...
