Re: By the Magic of Grayskull

Love it! I would be so tempted to make it a full costume if I got this shirt. I'd have to order the biggest size I could so it would be loose like his.

Re: Lemonade Stand Worker Costume (make a Pucker)

So you are at the Halloween party and people ask you, "where's your costume?"

You say, "I'm dressed up as a Lemonade Stand Worker," and make a little pucker to indicate how you've been sampling and quality checking the lemonade all day.

And when you wear the shirt out at other events, you're just someone who supports the lemons!

Thank you for your consideration and have a great weekend!

Re: I Am

Its funny, but sadly it'll probably get rejected. They seem to have been rejecting all "hello my name is" name tag designs ever since the "Hello I'm IT (run)" shirt was printed...

This is a very cool idea. Shame the light gray only comes in "heather," would've worked better solid for this one.

Great idea, as usual! I really wish "Jack" was positioned a little differently though :o( I am afraid this would inspire wisecracks about the female anatomy... Tough call to make. I'm not sure if there's anyplace "safe" given the requirements of the print area.

Re: Devil Inside

Draxxx. You provide nice detailed designs week after week. I am earnestly concerned that you don't understand the printing capabilities of shirt.woot. I cannot imagine how all of the detail will come close to showing up in an actual print. In general, woot has said they can print details up to a 1pt line. This equates to just over 4 pixels at 300 dpi. This includes area of shirt color or other colors that you wish to show through, because if those areas are not wide enough, the whole thing turns into a blob. The fine detail zooms that you show us really makes me think that your lines are way smaller, but I could be wrong, obviously.

The problem is, when designs that aren't printable wins, the designer gets paid but woot and the customers get screwed (refunds and wasted money). This certainly goes against the community spirit of the derby.

I am not trying to knock your talents, as you are obviously talented, but be careful with details, or they will do more harm than good.

This is awesome!!! I'm 6'2" and my husband is 6'10".....so of course we've both had the nicknames "beanpole", "beanstalk", and "green giant" throughout our lives....this shirt would be so perfect for us!! I hope it wins, I'd buy several!

Re: Joe The Plumber

Joe the plumber costume… Wear over a navy workshirt (or workshirt collar) grab a plunger and a pipe wrench and your ready to go. (Plumber’s crack is optional and up to you. Rules allow for only one side printing and I’m not drawing that anyways.)

This shirt would be perfect for a last minute Halloween Costume or posing as a plumber to earn some extra dough rooting peoples roters (if you’re into that and whatever that means anyways.)

Beware, this shirt also could spark political conversation and lead to discussion of how we need more than a “two-party” system, but this nonpartisan shirt picks no political party sides, only the side of people… the average Joes.

I’m bradyson and I approve this message.

P.S. Here’s some pictures showing the embroidery effect details on the workshirt patches…
