I love how the hat is bowing out to fit his fatty frame. Adorable. I love the placement.

This is such a great spoof. The way you've portrayed gluttony in Mucha style is just priceless (I can't get over that hair wrapped around the fork like spaghetti!) I would definitely wear this.

Vik, perhaps she (I'm assuming 'she' since it says goddess) just made the comment because that's what a lot of us see. I see a tribal tattoo design as well. Now, do I think it's from someplace else? no... but even I had to look twice and say, even for David, this isn't what I expect to see. And while it's great to do something out of the ordinary, I think it missed the mark since it is similar to other tribal tattoo shirts out there. I will have to say, he may get more requests via PM for the design so they can rock a tattoo before wearing it as a shirt.

At first glance something like this can look so 'simple', but then you look harder and start seeing all the delicate details. It's such a treat. This was a great idea that was extremely well executed!

it's all spaghetti. i read an article about Mucha a while ago that said he was famous for his "spaghetti hair".. it seemed like a logical progression.

No, no that's exactly right! Mucha's artwork depicted a whole lotta ladies with spaghetti hair. That's definitely what makes this work so well. Much kudos to you for picking that out and using it to your advantage. It came out awesome. : )

Perhaps this has already been said (but I looked and couldn't find it) that the snake and apple simply symbolize original sin... which would fit perfectly with the theme.

Anyways, I really love the the design but I just don't like the shape of the girl/flame. It just isn't very flame-like with the hair swirling off in various directions like that. At least it isn't very realistic. I know I am being nit-picky but it bugs me a little.

There are some anatomy issues with the arm of the bottom character that are probably the result of me working on this into the morning hours. I'll be sure to fix if i ever submit this elsewhere.

Thanks so much I felt that the picture needed a color besides brown, so I tried several things, but I felt that green made the most sense to me. Maybe I should have toned it down a bit? Thanks for the input

Actually, surprisingly enough, this was a tribal tattoo design I did for a friend. Slapped it on a shirt added some effects and voila!...A piece of carp!

Yea! I can make the coolest carp sometimes.

also i dont understand (maybe its because im new) why all the conspiracy carp even matters. people are going to vote for stuff they want (most of the time). its not like you can just have a bot make 1000 accounts that will vote for your shirt you made, each person has to have bought something. this is the only reason I can vote, and im fairly new. if your going to complain about the way people are swayed to vote for things then start complaining about a lot more then just shirt.woot, the entire US presidential election got screwed up because of wishy washy people who voted for who ever had the most charisma not qualifications.

So cute. Love the line work. Love the pose. I'm torn on the green though (although it works very well for the eyes); maybe a light yellow would be better? I can't think of any bright green light sources in nature, so it makes me think of aliens or something.

Thought I'd give brown a go since the Navy's not doing so hot. It's easier than doing a whole new design, at least for me and my obsession with detail. If you could see the detail (larger view) of this you could much better appreciate the 10 hours of drawing and coloring that I put into it. I didn't even get to add my super cool trademark lighting effects. Oh well, hope you like it.
