Re: Inspired by One Fish, Two Fish

i really like this design. the fish pop out much more than they did on urban painter, and the black shirt is a perfect choice. I'll buy several, and would not be surprised this one sells out within a few hours of woot's posting.

good luck!!!

Thank you very much. I liked it on white myself, but I am m willing to listen to to criticism and make needed changes. It doesn't look like this will get going quick enough to make a run at the fog, but I really thank you for the vote!

Holy cow this is clever. I still play this with the gf from time to time when we're walking down the street (don't step outside the white line). If I had a kid, I'd pick it up. As it stands your only getting a vote (well maybe by goddaughter would look cute in it).

You impress me every time! I almost tried this title, but I'm glad I didn't, cuz it would've paled in comparison. Incredible work.

This does look good. At first glance, I did think that the arm was taken victim by the end of existence... but then could see how it's tucked under. Perhaps taking the same shaded color that's along the sidewalk and using that at the "pressure points" where his hand and body are against the invisible-ness, instead of the solid black.

And since I'm a guy w/ super non-existent artistic abilities, feel free to ignore any thoughts I have regarding artwork :D ha ha

I think it's funny how you made him look like a christ figure when in the book he was depicted as the devil! Good job!

I really don't think you get all there is to get about "Lord of the Flies" in the 5th grade. Reread it as an adult, see if you still think it's stupid.

I only say this, because I first read it as a precocious 5th grader, and I got a lot more out of it when I reread it at 25.

Edit: Not to say that you're not an adult, but I think I remember reading somewhere that you are 16 or something? I'm just defending one of my favorite books. I read it at least once a year.

Re: Inspired by A Wrinkle in Time

NO! NO! NO! I can't stand those 2 identical halftone stripes on either side. Cut and paste anyone? This is so amateur, so boring, and just too linear.

On the other hand, I'm voting for your other design. That has some life to it.

Re: Inspired by Christmas Jars

Bah Humbug, err Happy Holidays. I wanted to do "Fade to Black" but my kids talked me into doing a Christmas shirt. Saw the title "Christmas Jars" and they thought it would be great to put Christmas items in jars. Fruitcake did not make the cut, thankfully they don't know what that horrible substance is. (Yes I have heard there is such a thing as a good fruitcake, I just have not ever been introduced to it.)
