I would have gone without the blue sketch lines. You're giving it a cleaner look with the halftones and light blue shirt, but the blue lines just look a little random. Still looks cool though.

Is is a great simple way to convey the idea, I like the use of of one color too! I wish it was a little bigger on the shirt tho...

You are quite the sketch artist! It reminds me of da vinci's work. I also like the irony of optimism by the "OK" symbol that has two different meanings... great work!

I've always been a fan of your work edgar, the unrealism (is that a word?) of your characters are very appealing and much more wearable then a lot of other stuff on woot. I agree that it would be nice if the design was a bit larger but I wouldn't want to sacrifice the proportions to make it so. in short, awesome job.

PS. Any chance you'll make an "after" shirt? ha cause he's definitely not making that...

This shirt made me laugh (after I was done with the "awwww" sound) because I am a semi-vegetarian (occasional poultry and fish), and I have a suitor who is straight up, almost militant vegetarian who told me he would cook meat for me if I asked him to. So this shirt design illustrates the idea of the things we do for love, almost literally in my case. I hope it wins! I'd at least be in for two.

If shirt.woot isn't blowing your hair back, then find another site or start your own. It doesn't matter what you perceived it to be X amount of time ago, what matters is now, and obviously people don't share your nose-in-the-air disdain for simple humor and funny shirt designs.

You can rant about LCDs and keep up your snobbish attitude but it will never change the fact that some t-shirt designs strike a chord with tons of people - obviously they might not meet your "stringent" artistic needs but that hardly matters now does it?

When the voters tire of a shirt.woot meme, they'll stop voting for it. It's that simple. Thankfully snobs like you are few and far between and get their fair representation like everyone else - one vote, or lack thereof. If a design wins, the people have spoken.

I don't like every shirt that makes it through a derby, but then again I don't vote for them all either. I somehow, with my "knuckle-dragging" intellect, learn to deal with it. You can too.

Judging by the colors on that photo, I think they used a super-bright flash from close range. The only lines here that you'd have a problem seeing are the ones around the bacon, and those wouldn't be visible from more than a couple feet away. It's mostly a moot point, but I just wanted to make sure you were aware of the past issue with black on brown prints.

I think this idea is very original and not at all a rip off of the other lemonade shirt. The faces are cute and the colors look great. My only question is what injury is being bandaged up?

My fav so far, feels like it's missing something, or maybe it's just placed a little high.

BTW, I think this shirt shows exactly what it intends to show and sometimes simple is the best way to go. Will buy for husband if gets to print.

I would like this better if there were 5 wheels, with only one off. That would be more about optimism, imo. This is more a picture of "Aw, $H!T!"

I think a brighter shirt color would be more optimistic as well.
