I've just been over to Cafe Press and this shirt is NOTHING like any of the shirts there. Did they mean the "Darfur" one? Or the "Bored me to death" one? None of them look like this one. Unless they're not going to allow certain things (like the heartbeat line) at all because someone else used it on a shirt somewhere else. Yikes! What might that lead to? I'm sadly disappointed. I was ready to buy several of these. SO sad.
crunchybitesized wrote:This is such and intellectually inside joke. I like it.
What joke? Its just a Fibonacci curve. I would totally wear this shirt, though.
crunchybitesized wrote:Being a "rube" is second nature for me.
So that's how Woot prints their shirts!
I WOULD BUY THIS SHIRT! Seroiusly! VERY cool design. I hope you get a chance to have some made - you've got buyers here!
look i did it
Re: 1 line chase
Maybe this should be called "One Line TRACE." As much as I like the smurfs, you may get rejected....maybe it's vague enough....
i can draw it just the first time so i kept it simple
how do u vote im not good with computers
Re: No Vacancy
Makes me think of Americana... I like it.

Thanks Rhett :D
blazineagle wrote:I know...I've actually done all of my designs on a little touch pad on my laptop...it's so annoying. I'm hopefully going to be getting a graphics tablet in a few days (Christmas), but sadly that will be too late. Otherwise I could go into a lot more detail than this. Woot wont take scanned artwork though, and I don't blame them.
Why dont you just buy a mouse (around 10$) and trace you scanned artwork in something like illustrator. Its easy and looks nice. no tablet needed.
jdn1400 wrote:Beautifully designed. It is pretty feminine, but I would buy one for my girlfriend. GMV and good luck!
My dad said the same thing. I think it looks a little "young" myself, but I would probably wear it anyway.
Re: An Incomplete Zebra...
A Late entry for the Zebra enthusiast. For the sake of time I traced the basic outline, which is a VERY rare occasion. I don't ever trace, but the stripes proved to be a very tedious endeavor without a shortcut. Thanks for voting!
Re: Bonsai Warrior
I like it... it's pretty sweet stuff!! I also know a couple of people i could get this for including myself!! I like that placement too!
Great! I hope this gets up there!
how do i vote 4 u

The circle around the zebra I think will count as more than one line because of all the starts and ends. Fix it and resub quick!
Re: Every Mouse Has His Day
What do mice and horses have to do with each other? And the middle animal is far too horselike to represent a midway evolution step between mouse and horse. Am I missing something? Because when I look at this, I think of the evolution picture, only it doesn't work or make any sense.
Re: My pickup line
1980s American-make generic pickup (most reminds me of Fords) = Redneck vote. Not the rest of us. And I agree about the writing.
Re: Patriotic Single Line
I like it. Simple and graphic.
Re: Do It Yourself Shirt Design
Amazing!!! I want it a lot now!!!

ha ha...are you saying the average guy on woot isn't ripped?
First shirt design I have voted for in weeks, good job.
Re: From the Ashes
It does look pretty great on a shirt. Congrats.
CHILLI20 wrote:Yeah you're right, my eye was tricked on those sections. Thanks for pointing out.
What software are you using? If you use Illustrator you can easily click one line and if everything is connected it will all be selected. Less acurately but still effective you could use the magic wand tool in Photoshop on the line. Just be sure to set it to contagious ;)
Re: Metamorphosis
Nice work. I would like it in purple though.
Woooooooow... I likey!
Re: Papa Silverback
I really like this design! GMV

oops, forgot to connect them. I'll resub it later or whatever woot feells like doing.
Azadondo wrote:Great design that I would totally buy, but it is way to clever to win a derby. Do you design anywhere else?
too funny, thats true though.
DavidShenoda wrote:oops, forgot to connect them. I'll resub it later or whatever woot feells like doing.
Its a real nice zebra, I'm just really afraid they are going to count the nose and eyes as fills...
Re: Legally Distinct City Destroying Monster
This City Destroying Monster is Legally distinct from others of it's ilk.
Re: So what if I can't fly? (v2)
Temporary suspension of the "no penguins" rule? =) Either way I'm happy for it -- this is a great piece.
really well done crunchy! Hope you can make the fog, this is the only shirt in the hotness I like right now.
i totally had a rube goldberg device all planned out for this derby, but i just couldn't nail down what i wanted the final stage to be. you beat me to it! :-D great job. you nailed it!
grael wrote:I really like him/her. This could easy become one of my favorite shirts.
thanks! i am a little bummed that this one really hasn't gone anywhere... oh well...next derby i guess...
southpaw3687 wrote:anyone think this would be better if submitted in another color and if so, what?
Actually, I love this color and design.
dopey5007 wrote:Why does this thing look like a bong to me?
ha ha ha! i totally thought that when i was submitting the design. i was just waiting for such a comment.
