and how is the big bad doggy tonight? I imagine he is just growling a tad more because he realizes you are his now and he has to protect you. What ya don't wanna do is tell him 'it's ok' - I know what you mean when you say it, but what he hears is 'it's ok to growl and be cranky'. Distract him out with a command - tell him to sit. As for the hackles raising at the dog park - hard for me to say what he is saying without seeing the rest of his body language. If you think he is threatening other dogs, then by all means, leash him up and take him out of there. Sometimes its just a game to see 'whose is bigger'...they quickly figure it out then go on playing.

yeah....with 2 doctors on, one receptionist can't handle three incoming phone lines, checking in and checking out clients, entering info, etc. Some days three people manning the front office ain't even enuf!

was quite foggy coming home tonight with the warm air over the snow. Glad the snow is all gone from my roof finally. Didn't wanna hafta git up there and clear it off!
