You remember the 3rd derby, and you still haven't found a shirt you want to buy yet???!!!!! I don't wear t-shirts often, but I have found quite a few for myself. And I've bought more than that for my husband. Are you a starving student, constrained by religious beliefs, or do you need someone to help you shop?

Bummer, I did get the art done for one that isnt so "boxed" in, but wasnt able to get it uploaded in time... And you all are right, it does look better. Well, maybe next time. Thanks again for the suggestions.

You know, just because something is said doesn't mean there is any truth behind it. There are many regulars to woot, and anytime there are regulars, they are going to lean towards particular artists they like. It could be that other artists or friends of artists have made up nasty rumors in order to steal votes.. Who knows! Just like the art or don't. It's a bad idea to believe conspiracty theories.

As a side note of proof that one veers towards particular artists: Almost half of my 15 Woot shirts are from this artist. Honestly, I hadn't even realized until recently, as I don't pay attention much to the artist section on the front page.

SEKIYOKU: THANKS FOR ALL THE AWESOME SHIRTS! I intend to buy this one if/when it goes up for sale. My sister, boyfriend & I are very into Japanese lore. :D And your art is obviously one of my favorite kinds. ^_^

Every word of this is true.

If I had my choice, this and Drakxxx's designs would go 1-2 (in either order), and Boot's design third.

I can dream, can't I ??

Re: Stroll down the Styx

aw man I want this one. Everyone make their friends vote for this one. I love the way the top of the boat is shaded yellow for the light off of the lamp hanging in the front.
Bad ass. this is the only one this week I could see myself actually wearing. I'm not sure how I could rationalize a giant fox on my shirt, but this one is wearable.

YOU feel cheated? Man, I almost burst a blood vessel, but there's always next week I suppose.

But, you surely speak the truth Mr. Vik.

You're so wise. You're like a miniature Buda, covered in hair.

I thought I phoned it in bigtime this week.

Mind you...
At least it's not tiny, pixelated, illegible, or clearly drawn by a baboon who's got hold of somebody's laptop and tablet.

Wait wait wait. You're saying we can't predict the masses when two of the shirts in the fog (both of which will probably print) look like at least one if not two shirts that have printed in the last couple of months?

I was surprised because I thought this was higher placed than what it was to fall out of the fog.

Not necessarily. For example...wooter purchases 3 Random shirts. That counts as only one Woot.

My thanks!
I seem to share a slanted sort of humor with the creator of the Satyr-tot.

A few people are using Creme this time around. I think it goes well with Mythology.

Good catch, Heartline. If Adder is correct, then someone forgot which account they were using when posting that. Or maybe 15 is the aggregate across multiple accounts.

Re: Right on Track: Beat the Machine!

HOW S THIS OFF TOPIC?! John Henry is one of the actual heroes of folklore as opposed to Paul Bunyan or Pecos Bill which are creations of fakelore (stories that see like they came from back in the day, but were actually created more recently).

This is really pretty, but I agree with people who said the tails are a bit much and the lantern could be more prominent.

How's Paul Bunyan "OK" but John Henry is "off topic?"
