Awww! It's adorable! Love it. The placement is great as well, and the swimming sharks at the bottom are killer hilarious. Great job!

I really had no idea what the thumbnail should be. Meh. I'm not even bothering to put this in my signature.

I like the idea, but the art is subpar even by my low standards. I'll clean it up in the future.

But thanks.

This is an amazing design that I wish I could print and hang on my wall! However, it isn't practical for a t-shirt. I don't want to stand for 5 minutes while people examine my shirt.

This is awesome. Plain and simple. The detail is fantastic, the colors are awesome, the linework is unbelievably tasty. This is no ordinary dragon entry, most definitely. GMV

@ roofdiver and logos - If you don't like the shirt, then there's no reason to support it. People should only vote for shirts that they would buy.

Strisel wrote:Looks nice, just doesn't belong on a shirt that's all. I just can't picture myself wearing it and not being told out how much of an anime-obsessed etc.

And I'll be damned if I have to explain the whole Kitsune story to people.

Glad you like the drawing, regardless.

Re: The Fates

I like this idea a lot, but agree that all the fates as you women, does not truly portray what they are. The first is young, innocent, the child or maiden. Second is the mother, the care giver, no longer so innocent. And last, the grandmother, the one with the wisdom only a lifetime can bring. This way all aspects of life are represented.

Re: Kitsune

I really hate being a hater, but I can't quite grasp the design. the fox/kitsune itself it quite beautiful holding the lantern, the light falling in nice designs on the foxes leg and arm, but when it gets to the tails...I lose all interest, the weight and balance of the piece seem thrown off, and the way the picture is seems to highlight the tails more than the fox, and it just doesn't seem right. But I am but mortal and perhaps don't see this piece in the right light. I have enjoyed other works of yours sekiyoku, and even voted for a few. But alas, this piece baffles me...I'm sorry, I hope I at least gave some warrantable reasons for my distain, and as I said I hate being a hater.

Please don't make me try to draw anime style!!!

This is a great drawing, but I couldn't wear it. First of all, I am not familiar with the legend. Second, the design takes up too much of the shirt for me. Third, I don't wear cream very well.

My husband won't wear it, because it isn't funny. My sister wouldn't let her kids wear it, because it is too scary looking. (At least that's what she thinks. She thinks Raggedy Ann is too scary for little children.)

I gave you my reasons for passing on this. I'll bet everyone who hasn't voted has different reasons, and almost all of them have nothing to do with this not being anime.

To me, this would make a great woodcut or poster.

I also feel like the placement is a bit off - perhaps if you have the sword laying down beneath him like you do in the background image, then you could move the whole thing up?

Love the drawing though - and the legends as well.

I don't consider this being a hater at all, perhaps I should have made the tails less heavy. In my mind, they didn't seem like much of an issue because a lot of the tail is made up of the shirt color, so at least inkwise, it's not too much in one area. I'll try to keep in mind picture balance for future entries, I wish woot let you edit current entries!
