Re: Worst Date Ever.

This is pretty funny. I wanted to do a hydra type design, but seems like there are already many of them. Yours is the most polished though. Good work, and good luck this week!

BootsBoots wrote:This is such a great illustration. The only thing I'm not sure about is the placement, but I'm willing to overlook it.

I wanted him to be looking somewhere (even if at a bit of blank space). Tried centring on the shield, and he was kinda sniffing pit. :S

This is actually centred on his head. (And too much higher and it gets in the way of the collar - screenprinters don't like that...)

Thanks for the compliment!

Re: Bigfoot

disclaimer: I'm not at all implying that this is a rip-off

This makes me think (maybe because it's on a red shirt) of the Slim-Jim commercials :-( But the drawing is nice. Unfortunately, the Slim-Jim thing makes me not press the happy voting button

Re: Apollo: God of Rock 'n Roll

RESUB with better detail pic so I have a fighting chance!!!

Before the king of rock 'n roll there was the God of Rock 'n Roll. Elvis was once young and sexxxy like Apollo, god of prophecy, medicine, archery, art, and RAWK. As he aged, the king became more like Dionysus, god of wine, pills, and fat girls.

Some songs by Apollo: You ain't Nothing but a Cerberus, Corinthian Rain, Suspicious Minds, and Viva Los Athens

Show detail, for some reason:

The sign in your design is pretty much a direct rip of a Cannondale shirt I have. The only thing that's different is the mountain bike is missing...

Sorry for the blurry pic, but it's the best I could do without putting more effort into this than I need to.

I'm sure you're already feeling an overwhelming amount of love, Drax, but I have to toss my wittle bit in as well. *lub*

Very rarely do shirts awe me and pull me in enough to where I start following the lines and trying to decipher the production process.

I've been analyzing your detail images for like 20-freaking minutes. I voted. I'll wear it. PTERODACTYLS! yes! I'm guessing I can't say PTERODACTYLS!. Meh.

Just to add, I'm not saying you stole it. I mean, the sign for falling rocks is pretty universal. However, I already get enough grief for wearing this shirt too much... so I won't be buying one.

And the sign on your Cannondale shirt is pretty much a direct rip of the road signs actually up in the southwest US. The only thing that's different is they added the mountain bike.

Ah, the woot dance... where you get up close close close at the beginning and by the end you're at different sides of the dance floor.

Though some people prefer to add in steps that someone else thought of years prior

Also, I enjoy the way you talk like a T-rex

I kinda like this one. I think I'd REALLY like it if the "Golden Unicorn" text was on the shirt and instead it read "The Golden Unicorn... OF DESTINY!!!" (yes, with all those exclamations, too). GMV

Re: No way out of the Minotaur's maze...

The legendary Minotaur's maze was the final end for many sacrifices. Death, however, did not always come from Minotaur, rather it often came from the infinite labyrinth that housed the mythical beast.
