This is a very fluid design. Very nice. I love how Arthur is (accurately) portrayed as an older gentleman.

I don't know if they have a similar myth in Japan, but I know they have a myth about rabbits pounding mochi on the moon... now looking back maybe I should've made that instead. A bunch of rabbit are surely more happy than a lone girl on the moon.

This reminds me of wood blocking. It's great. I think it's ridiculous that my joke of a Kappa entry is ahead of this. You put some work into this and it definitely shows. For what it's worth, GMV.

Awww, rejected? I seriously loved this when i saw it! It was such a unique and creative idea. I mean i get tired of seeing zeus 50 times. ahuhu. Definitely save it for a future derby!

This reminds me of one of those really super old Hero's Quest games. haha. You had to fight a house with a giant monster chicken in it with the legs sticking out.

Thanks, your entry is not a joke and is very representative of today's depiction of Kappa. It is cute and cute often seems to do well here.

I don't really draw cute and in fact when I drew these guys I thought, "Man they are kinda ugly, but I like them." I have to remember that the mass voters might not like something or don't see it as a good shirt no matter how "great" it is. That is the way the cookie crumbles.

And it is funny that you made the anus reference; I was too scared to mention that or the cucumber.

Aren't Kappa great? The addition of the lanterns make this cute Kappa shirt. We should have added fart bubbles to our entries though, Kappa love to make loud passing gas sounds.

Haha, yeah the anus thing is kind of scary. If I grew up believing in Kappas, I don't think I'd go swimming...ever.
