I had the same problem this morning, only it was two children and a mess of stuffed toys.

Afternoon all... a cold and rainy day has me 'n the misses working at the kitchen table on doing the taxes while the kids do... well, they're not here so I don't know what they're doing. They're quiet, which may be a bad sign.

Wish I had snow. All we seem to get (except for a blizzard three weeks ago) is rain that freezes overnight.

They're playing with duplo blocks in the living room now, so we're momentarily safe.

Yes, please do. Give the kids an excuse to go outside and expend some energy. This weather is only good for transferring mud and water from the "lawn" to the berber.

that season will be upon me in a month or two.....can't wait. Only I don't got berber..got white tiles in the kitchen. Shows off muddy paw prints quite well.

We hate the berber. But it came with the house and we haven't saved enough to get it replaced with wood flooring.

yeah, I have removed all of the carpeting in this house with the exception of one room. And that will be going soon too.
