Clever idea well executed. I really like your shading on the marionette. This shirt really should have more votes by now, because I'd really like to buy one... it's one of the few I'd actually put out money for.

Re: Assimilate!

I am so familiar with this. Many of my Vermilion Ragin' Cajuns clothing items have snuck in with the "non-red" loads and have "pinked" them.

"Yo whitey t-shirt, you just got pinked!"

prolly a work/big brother issue (firewall, filter, NSA trace...)

Ok, getting back on track. The dinosaur is kinda interesting, but the barcode does kinda hurt the design for me. Cool idea though!

I was downtown yesterday and watched a bunch of blackbirds flying around. I tried to come up with something to draw using them, but gave up. This simple and neat solution was right before my eyes the whole time.

Re: mass produced individuality

I'd vote for it, because I love the idea, but I would never wear a shirt with Che on it, not even as a joke (mainly because most people wouldn't get it). So no vote from me, as I wouldn't want to misrepresent myself as a potential customer.

(am I overthinking it?)

This is killer. Masterful color, thoughtful and quirky rendering, 4 stars! Its great. But seriously - it's kind of a stretch to say it's about individuality, isn't it?

Great design, I was glad to see some one do the opposite, and go with some one (zebra) not conforming to the rest of the world.

Nah not juicy fruit, it's called "Fruit Stripes" ;)

This is a resub, although there were no halftones on the previous one, I removed what the rejectionator might have thought were halftones due to the jpg compression of the red on the image. -_- Here is a closeup: http://i40.tinypic.com/2ibf6a8.png. The screentone dots are the same as the ones on my Optimistic Courtship picture, and are therefore printable.

I'm doubtful this can be printed, myself. The 'screentone dots' I'll take your word that they are big enough. However, if they are at the limit of the screening, as seems likely, the red crosshatched lines are certainly smaller, A LOT smaller. They've told us that a line smaller than one point in diameter is too small, and so I really don't think these lines are that big.
