Re: Meowing Up The Wrong Tree

Can someone explain the connection to the theme? I don't get it...it just seems like a random "cute" shirt...

Love the sun on this one. Great use of fatty halftones in that case.

Josephus wrote:I'm doubtful this can be printed, myself. The 'screentone dots' I'll take your word that they are big enough. However, if they are at the limit of the screening, as seems likely, the red crosshatched lines are certainly smaller, A LOT smaller. They've told us that a line smaller than one point in diameter is too small, and so I really don't think these lines are that big.

Woot *just* printed a shirt by the same artist that used the same "screentone" technique, so clearly they *are* big enough.

3) I don't see an individual here. I see a hedgehog who accidentally fell into a paint can, knocked it over, and is now in trouble. It would be better if he was proudly sporting his new blue paint.

I agree. It would be better if he was just blue from the start, and proud of it. I think you tried to hard to create a story of how he became blue, and should have concentrated on him embracing his "blueness". Nice illustration, though.

Re: A Product of Individualism

I think the design is great and I totally voted for you! Although I think the placement is a bit off as well as the sizing. I think that if it was shrunk down a bit and placed asymmetrically on either the upper left or right side it would work well. And im not to clear on the rules if designs can be printed on the back of shirts but I think it would look great if it was placed on the bottom left or right of the back of the shirt. Just a suggestion but super design!
Id get it if the placement changed : )

Deaths buddies have noticed something a little different lately about their favorite soul harvesting pal. Whats with the pink robes and sudden interest in botany? What could this mean for their friendship? More importantly what does this mean for the rest of us? o.O

re: the experiment

So, does anyone remember doing an experiment in elementary school where you tried to grow some seeds in a plastic bag with a wet paper towel, and then they actually grew and you felt really proud of yourself? Sometimes it is really amazing the things that nature has thought up.
