Re: The Artist

Thanks for the kind comments!

This shirt is based on my experiences in art classes growing up. I was terrible at following direction - sometimes it was a good thing and sometimes it was a bad thing.
Looking back, I don't regret having a ceramic scuba diver instead of a ceramic pot... the memory of my teacher's reaction makes it worth it.

Very cool, I like how all of their easels form a big picture.

sigh.. for some reason i said nothing about the TMNT shirt, but this? you're not even trying, and that's obvious. but it works as it's in the fog. nobody wants originality, they just want their childhood nostalgia on a t-shirt without having to actually pay the guy who created it.

this won't get rejected because nothing gets rejected when you're one of the popular "artists", but it should be. simply pathetic.

Thanks, it will definitely appear in the mysoti page within the six weeks allowed. I can almost guarantee that will be the only place to see it.

She is my purple daisy in a field of yellow.

I wanna see the poem!

This ended up rather charming. I wasn't expecting to like it but I do! (sorry for the rather round-about compliment)

I think I might buy this for my roommate. She was the one who discovered the single yellow pansy on campus, ahuhu.

I just noticed it looks like the raptors on the ground have painted nails. I'd maybe think about changing that. I'm guessing you wanted it to look like blood, but I don't think it worked well. I still really like the idea though.
