Re: Odd Piece Out

Find the edge peices first... group them by color, look for distinguishing marks.

Hmmm.... 0 for 3.

Just saying...

I really like the picture in the back though, very angelic.

That very well might be the case if that is what everyone thinks but it is my lifestyle and it a part of what makes me who I am ~ ~

We just thought it would be fun to put up, uh, similar topics in different styles to see how they did. My daughter Laura (MissLauraB) also did an anime lion too, so we did a total of 3. :^D

I love how the colorful one got splashes of paint on those around him. hehe

Ditto! I also love that each of the other painters is different (you could have been lazy, but chose not to be). It also kind of shows that they COULD be individuals....but gave up the chance.

Re: Animelion

My daughter Laura did this one because she didn't like the lack of detail in the kawaii lion- said to be anime it needed more...I don't know, uh, shiny reflections or something. so here it is.

Re: Noble Steed

Roger always got stuck behind the rest of his cavalry. He knew it wasn't his bad breath, or bad table manners that caused him to lag behind, he just couldn't seem to place what it was. His horse was just like all the others, it had two ears, (albeit rather large ones) four legs, and a tail. Sure, maybe his horse was a tad bigger, and maybe it was gray, but that's no reason to be left behind for. And hey, maybe his horse didn't whinny like all the others, but it sure could play a mean bugle call! Poor, poor Roger, he just couldn't figure it out. He thought maybe he should have just joined the artillery, instead of buying his dumb old horse from that circus anyways. He had always had a weakness for cannons...

Re: One's Advantage

And off he goes to be sucked up into a tornado and into a far away land over the rainbow to father a whole line of progeny who in the future will be enslaved and taken advantage of by a wicked witch until such time as spoken of in the prophecy that a girl of gingham and rubies shall free them.

I'm all for supporting new artists, but I think you'd have much better chances at winning and printing if you tried pairing up with a more experienced artists, because this is a good concept, it's just a little lacking in the execution. Good luck though!

theinfinityloop wrote:I love this idea Boots. You know, if you're worried about it not quite coming across, you maybe could add a half tone to show the red dye swirling in the water around the shorts. You probably have time to resubmit. Either way, you have my vote because I'm really anal about laundry so this is fitting for me.

That sounds like a good idea to me. Also, maybe somewhat on the socks too, with white and pink. So it doesn't look so solidly done.
