Re: My Problem

I've never been one who insisted that the most artistically-involved shirts should always win, but I still don't get why this one is doing so well. The leap from "exercise" to the "eggs are sides" line seems tenuous.

I was sorry to hear that the designer has had a tough time of things lately--lord knows it's tough all over right now--but that's not enough of a reason for me to be down with this one.

Hope you have better luck in the job market, haxrox.

Is not so bad with text... gives it a slightly more 3d feel to it since the text is behind the zombies.

I have never thought of that, but a bench does look a guy pressing weights and I guess he is forever stuck in an extension.

I seem to be a sucker for those demotivation posters. I loved it from the moment I saw it in the early discussion in the forum.

Nice design and good presentation.

I like to work on my lay downs in the bedroom. I can do up to one a night and then sometimes squeeze in one or two during the day.

I would, though. There's something very compelling and appealing about this shirt -- it's my favorite one in the derby so far.

Your allowed to lay down on a treadmill? and to think I had been avoiding those things...

That is a balanced equation: Fat pig = bacon and bacon = fat pig!

BACON!

I really like the coloring on this shirt. You don't see many artists on this site using this style.
The name is very witty as well.

(That last part was sarcastic.)

Thanks for the comments about the design, all. And Discobuscuits, that's high praise.

eHalcyon wrote:I think the flow is a bit forced, and it kind of bugs me that there the first two points are numbered and then the rest aren't.

The first two points are numbered as if the writer got up to point 2, then got distracted. This is pretty much how my school note taking went - write down something, get distracted by a word, follow a rabbit trail of strange ideas and completely miss the lecture.

IndependentVik, I can appreciate not getting the joke. That's humor- it either resonates with you or is discordant. The irony of my situation is that I've had no trouble finding a job in my field, circumstances were such that I just couldn't commit to one, and so my income came from this very unlikely source. But as you affirmed, that has nothing to do with votes, nor should it.

Also, I'm pretty sure the bacon frenzy in the recent woot-off's comments is influencing my thought processes. It's like 6 steps to actual bacon.

If I'm not mistaken, this is referring to the idea that we are doomed through some unknown catastrophic event that will occur on the winter solstice of 2012.
