Horrorfan578 wrote:ok guys, the correct phrase is " the quick RED fox jumps over the lazy BROWN dog" Sorry just had to jump in with that.
This has 2 Rs Es and Ds thanks to your addition of red.
Re: My Problem
Hmm, I guess I'm the only nerd who checks digg... Bacon = Votes is definitely not a new phenomenon... People just really like bacon, I guess.
Re: The Quick Brown Fox
Nobody remembers Pica Republic? *sniffle*
My first entry... feedback appreciated! Thanks.
I mentioned this idea to Fable on Thursday. I didn't have time to do it, nor did I have a picture in my mind of how it would look - only the pun. This was a good way to take it. I don't think the text is necessary though.
Re: A-Rod on Steroids
I WANT THIS SHIRT... MAYBE THREADLESS WILL PRINT IT?
Re: Gazelle-on-Gazelle Action!
Here's a LARGE VERSION. I appreciate the feedback, I'm still semi new to the derbies! Remember, Tony Little says: "Vote for this shirt! YOU CAN DO IT!"
Re: Body By Bruce
Everyone wants the easy way out. Why not get in shape the Super Hero way? Thanks for checking it out!
felloffthebus wrote:I too am one who agrees with this. There needs to be some justification for this. It is obvious that the people who vote for ramy's shirts don't buy them. If we remember the "A is for Atlas" vs. the "Sun Wukong" shirts, ramy's would've gotten a lot more vote than Tgenty's shirt if it did't have to be resubmitted, yet the sun wukong shirt is higher on the reckoning chart. We need to hold people accountable for this. People need to vote on what they would buy, not what is cute/attractive/cool looking. Take charge woot!
That proves nothing at all. Only one single derby shirt in the history of shirt.woot has sold LESS than the number of votes it received. All that it shows is that the voting demographic is a small subset of the purchasing demographic, and that the former is not always an accurate representation of the latter.

I do. That would be quite a stretch for most people to connect those dots without the text.
Shenorock wrote:I do. That would be quite a stretch for most people to connect those dots without the text.
Thanks i tried imagining this one without the text and thought that it would be a little difficult outside the context of the derby thanks everyone for checking it out!
Re: Kitty Exercises
this shirt is so cute i think its giving me cavities!
Shenorock wrote:People who are voting for this are ignoring a lot more than perspective =P
sfabro wrote:Thanks i tried imagining this one without the text and thought that it would be a little difficult outside the context of the derby thanks everyone for checking it out!
That's fair enough. In that case, I think you would fare better with something more concise. The word I had in mind before was "exercism".
databit wrote:I don't go to fencing practice... but now I want to to have something to wear this shirt to
Fencing practice. :-P Do saber.
cmdixon2 wrote:This cat is creepy. It has alien eyes and no nose. Also, what does the text below each image say? You can't read them in the comp.
I should of included them but it was 4am when I finished and I was all loopy. But in order from left to right the 'exercises' are yoga, curls, soccer and crunches
Re: Now I am the master . . .
By the way do you have a hi-rez copy of this design?
nbrosas wrote:He's an artist and he doesn't even have a Pantone color book? HOLY EFFING COW. I am done with checking out the Derby.
RNSaffold wrote:He's an artist who also doesn't know how to calibrate his monitor properly :>
Most woot designers don't have a pantone book, and having one doesn't necessarily help if the majority of the voters don't have their monitors calibrated correctly. And I think that the colours I'm seeing are as Ramy intended, if I read his description correctly. I'm pretty confident in the calibration of my monitor. It looks good on this end. Heh. I like the colours. Not so much the design.
MiKEYxCORE wrote:Comic Sans? Seriously? Other than that, cute design.
I need to find some good fonts that are okay to use commercially. Most the ones I snagged from the internet are for personal use only ;3; But thank you <3
Re: Synchronized Sea
This is so elegant,I appreciate the fact that each mermaid is unique. It's not a shirt I would ever buy for myself, but my niece would love it. GMV for her.
Reawen wrote:Haha, I love the wench chasing :p
That's the only part of the shirt that I have a problem with. Congrats on getting into the fog, Toby.
coal0101 wrote:I think you will run into trademark issues with this one.
So far so good and thanks for all the comments guys
Here is a better preview since I forgot to add the text in oxo'
Re: Peapod Envy
I hate Comic Sans so much >.< Nice shirt though :P
Re: Snap!
I am NEVER dressing out for gym now.
I like this one. A "that's what she said" joke at the right moment can be hilarious if it is not overused.
spartankid125 wrote:The formula does it again: Cutesy poorly drawn animals + pop culture reference = instant fog Do you ever get tired of pandering to the lowest common denominator? It's good to see that so many of the other major artists here refuse to pander just to get prints, but it's unfortunate that never really rubbed off on you.
I normally don't read the discussions for the entries. When did the t-shirt snobs start showing up?
Cue the the sad piano music.
You might want to take a look at the guy hovering 3 feet over the track down there.
Re: Jungle's Gym
I love it... Wilson is a nice touch.
jasneko wrote:My first entry... feedback appreciated! Thanks.
Very good first entry. Simple and appealing to all the cat lovers out there without being uber cute or anime.
yumac29 wrote:Its a shame this isnt getting more votes. It is unbelievably clever and fun to look at.
i appreciate it
Re: Morning Routine
Same thing here, but it's a doughnut shop. Jerad did subway.

Ramy's entries tend to be hotbeds of conspiratorial, jealous intarweb rage. It's pretty fascinating to watch most of the time.
Re: treadmill for stupidity
You can't fix stupidity!
Re: Procrastacademy
Hahahaha, this is in the hotness, proving that popularity must be completely random. Cheers everyone.
databit wrote:You might want to take a look at the guy hovering 3 feet over the track down there.
huh? he's sitting down stretching...
I really like the style of the people. The guy stretching is very cute, too. "Hnnnnuggg"
Re: The Original 6-Pack
Thanks for voting!
Re: PIRATE EXERCISE
I'm not a fan of this Pirate fad, but grats getting this to the fog so damn fast.
