This looks really great- I remember you saying you were going to send this in (although I see it's a bit modified?) and I'm really glad to see it printed :D Congrats

Really? This T-Shirt design is so generic.

I like it. I wish at least one of the shirts in the fog was 1/10th as good as this shirt.

Hilarious description. And so, so appropriate.

Congrats to the artist. Not for me, but it's a pretty design.

Am I crazy, or is this reeeeeeeeeally similar to a previous Woot shirt?

Huhm... the waves look oddly familiar to this clipart one I found for use in my art class... same curl and basic shape...

I guess there is only so much you can do with waves, but still seems a little strange.

Personally, if there is just a plain design on a t-shirt, I want it to be special. Like with special inks that makes it water color or spread around the whole shirt or something different. Congrats though...

I really like this, but I agree it does feel a wee bit genericish. I don't see myself wearing this...

Congrats anyways!

Congrats... Not really awe inspiring or screaming "BUY ME".

At first I was like "He stole that!" then I was like "I wish I had thought of that." then "I wish I had the design chops to pull it off." then I bought one.

If you’ve had your fill of the adorable cannibal-animals and the anthropomorphic vegetables, here’s your chance to step up or shut up – all in the name of art, of course.

...That's hilarious.

Grats on the print!

Compulsively ordered this shirt due to The Great Wave off Kanagawa inspiration. I really like the design.

Once again woot isn't getting my money.

Anyone who bought this shirt should have googled "Japanese wave art" first and seen how unoriginal this shirt is.

I appreciate that your first post ever on the forum was to show that you got the reference. Good show, chap.

Why can't we have something artistic AND creative? Geez.

This suffers from both posteritis and giant-print-discomfort. It's a pretty design, but I don't see myself wearing it.

Not that I don't love cannibal bunnies or anthropomorphic veggies, it's just that work likes it better when I don't scare the customers away.

In for one, because yes it is generic, but it's generic in the really cool way that it'll stand out as something interesting and still go with pretty much anything. Yay!

Yeah, the trouble is, we buy the shirts, there just aren't enough of us to fight the giant waves of cute lovers.

“Why doesn’t Shirt.Woot sell more artistic grownup-type shirts?”

I read this comment just the other day thinking that! The gods of Woot listen to our prayers!

If they could see me now, they'd see me bowing!

Reminds me of Zenne's "Lady out of water" from leap-year-day (2/29) last year. Except I assume they got the colors right this time This one is also less "woodblock-like"

If anyone wants an unworn mens XL of "Lady out of water" please PM me and I'm sure we can work something out. Or if you have a men's XL (unworn) you'd want to exchange let me know too.

One of the smartest things Joe's ever said.

You can work the ridicule card all you want, woot, but the fact is that people who go for non-cutesy shirts are more selective. So of course they're never going to sell out as often. Cutesy buyers have no concept of taste, and will therefore buy anything with a little cute in it. We need something that fits us before we'll go in.

I suppose it all depends on whether you care more about the shirts or the money. But we already know that answer, so don't let us cause you to rack your minds.

Amen. "Van Goghkusai"... priceless!
I said I liked Great Wave once, and my family seemed to think I'm gaga over it, so over the past few years they've bought me a Great Wave mousepad, desk art board, and tapestry... Maybe I should get this shirt just to round out the collection.
