I decided I like it on navy more.

I wanted to draw a cute squid picture, I love squid. Here is my reasoning behind them-

1: Normal squid
2: Squid playing with/attacking a pirate ship
3: Squid inking... oops :O
4: Squid sleeping on a sushi bed.

Awesome. I'd like to see how well it comes out in the print. I'm not sure if woot is capable of printing all the tiny details in the waves. I'd hate to see this design rejected for that. :/

I found out about shirt.woot through my friend wearing Easy Optimism around me, and he and his college roommates agreed it was hilarious.

I LOVE Optimistic Courtship; bought it immediately upon release.

My significant other just ordered me Imposter.

I think this shirt is a huge disappoinment. What is the point of it? Blushing, smiling, and squealing chibi squid bouncing around and doing things that a real squid would never do?

I'm not exactly sure what the criticism is - I've stated many times that I like cute things, and I would definitely wear this shirt if it won (I love squid), although I don't expect it to. :p If anything, you should question my tastes, not my integrity.

I don't plan to only do cute designs (in fact, I have another one I'm working on right now) but I don't plan to give them up.

Hm... I had an idea to do something like an ocean of stars, and this stemmed from there. I tried to choose colors to give it a storybook feel. Hope you like!

In case you're wondering, the sea is on the left side... so yes, there are fish in the sky and birds in the sea.

I'm not mad at you as a person, but I do wish your submission to this derby had been more. . . interesting, maybe? I don't dislike the art, just the lack of a solid idea behind it.

But on a brighter note, I get tons of compliments on Optimistic Courtship. So despite all of the stupid melodrama surrounding that shirt, thanks for bringing it to us (:
