Nice Cramps shout-out. RIP Lux!

i'm actually a huge astronomy geek, but yea, not feelin it. maybe if i were 12. yea, possibly.

This is a pretty funny shirt. I'm glad it's sold out so I don't have to decide whether I want it or not. I really like the humor, but constellation shirts that glow are a little cheesy for me. Still, it's a good shirt.

Fewer than two? I know the names of three are up there, but only two resemble the actual constellations. You might note that the three with real names are all carefully positioned to look like... well, let's just say Virgo is looking a little limp.

In my opinion, the designer put three on there. Two conveniently positioned real constellations, and one completely fabricated constellation with a real name.

I went through the entire thread, and while it's possible I missed a post, did no one comment about the Star Trek reference in the writeup? I'm with woot all the way: Berman ruined Trek! :P

Tomorrow at midnight they will reprint the shirt for $15 instead of $10 and it will be available at that price until it gets reckoned.

People keep saying there're two real and one fake in the top row, but they all look like the real deal to me:

But as for conveniently positioned: Absolutely. Leo, in particular, is upside down from the way it usually appears. The lines are redrawn a bit to that effect, too. Too bad; without that, I probably would've bought it tomorrow even having missed it today.

Tell him not to complain... The last time I saw stars in LA was at about 4:30 AM, MLK Day back in 1994, after the Northridge Quake knocked out 90% of the power in the LA basin. It totally wasn't worth it.

Damn I haven't been on woot in a while. And I was really hoping that woot had outgrown its phase of selling terrible shirts. Too bad I mean glow in the dark in sorta cool but childish. Also stupid made-up constellations are pretty laem and not funny

I agree. The fake constellations were funny enough and would have been more funny without slightly altering the 3 real constellations at the top with a sophomoric re-drawing of the lines. Phallic jokes are just intellectually lazy. But for redrawing the lines on the constellations along the top row, I would have been in for one, if not two, of these.

read here on the 1st page. Those are the only other shirts that were printed with GITD... yes, the first shirt's GITD was laem but the Ghosties wasn't so bad. I suspect that the small amount used may cause it to glow less... we'll see when people get them in the next few days.
