seriously, this was a series that I remember. Cadillacs and Dinosaurs. It was 1993, and they only made 13 episodes. It was fantastic, and taken from the Tales From the Xenozoic comic, though I didn't know that. The women were hot.

Jaden, thank you for convincing Lucy to sit at her little booth for me ;), and your description of the story behind this design is spot on.

The color is Pantone 193C, which according to my little chart thing is called "Red Hot".

Glad I was on point with the story.

And you know, Lucy and I are tight. She and I have discussed fanclubs before... this one is probably her best suggestion, by far.

This is a very adorable design. Clean, looks great on black - great tee in everyway. Not something I would wear, but I can imagine others wearing it.

Inspired By: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

See a sai? Most hopefully will get this quickly. A sai is the weapon you see on the shirt. The small turtle is seeing the sai. Ok, do you CSI now?

This is a re-sub-re-sub, has cleaner lines, is less copyright-infringey, and the sai is now proportional.

I'm keeping it simple with two colors. I love the turtles and CSI. I entered another "meh" version of this take in the derby for more hardcore turtles fans. It is really obscure for those who haven't watched it in years.


Here is, more or less, a conversation I just had...

Tim: Hey, I like your ninja turtle shirt.

Me: It is a CSI shirt.

Tim: It has nothing to do with CSI, what are you talking about?

Me: Don't you CSI?

Tim: I watch it, but it doesn't have baby turtles in it.

Me: I CSI and the baby turtle does too.

Tim: ...

Me: You can't CSI on the shirt?

Tim: I can't CSI? What? Are you nuts? I see a baby Raphael and the weapon he will someday use.

Me: Ok, so you CSI now.

Tim: Stop drinking pesticides.




So there you have it, your conversations can look something like this. Or if you don't want to get into it, just say: "Yes, yes it is a ninja turtle shirt."

With the star extruded in the z-dimension the corners more rounded and than the stars in the Mario games, I don't see how this would be any different than the numerous game references on previous derby entries.

this is by far the best, i think, although my sense of humor is geared mainly toward the most out of the way, driest, humor you could think of.. All the other thunder cats designs have an actual cat in them. way cool and bravo on the design!!
