The green not being of equal depth bothers me. Cool shirt though.

Thanks! I started off using a navy blue shirt, but then when examining it, I accidentally clicked on the orange and thought "wow, the orange works MUCH better than blue!". Glad you like it too!

Because if he can make money off of it, that brings more amusement.
Like the kids who try out for the sports teams because they like the game but don't expect to make it.

Or the Artist who get's torn apart every week for drawing cute animals on shirts that people buy.
Weird.

Well, here's my latest woot efforts! It's Captain Planet! I tried a few different things this week with the cross-hatching trying to get some extra depth with the increase in colors.

Let me know what you think!

The lighting is supposed to be from the top left... the animals are also all backlit to separate them from the shirt a bit. Knowing what I intended, which ones look wrong?

Well, unless that's not light on the bottom of the ox, that seems odd, likewise with some of the leg light... on the horse it seems all the light is coming from the right... and just little small highlights on a bunch of the animals that just look out of place, bu less noticeable. As well, no shadows are really case onto another animal, only to the ground in an that lightning-bolt type shape, granted that might have been a desired effect.

I did a quick analysis of the top six entries on my blog.

I've seen this exact post attached to at least one other entry. In fact, most of your posts this derby seem to be "read my blog, please!"

I understand you're trying to draw traffic to said blog, but there's such a thing as being shameless.

I actually used Corel Painter. I dig their pen tool for my t shirt designs. I'm glad it looks more organic though. :-)

Also, I _have_ seen illustrations of unicorns with donkey tails.

Usually a "Kirin" from Japanese mythology is portrayed having a donkey tail.

Nice design, little smaller maybe.

It just looks like the tail on Amalthea from The Last Unicorn.

I love that film. ♥

It's an interesting shirt, but the promise of the fighter's thumb becoming broken is too much of a disturbance for me to purchase.

With that said, this reminds me of that career builders commercial where the koala gets punched, :D

I dunno about the other folks complaining, but I like where it's placed. If it were too high up, my grapefruits would make it look weird.

Yep. Very, uh, well-drawn ladies, I recall. lifelike, as it were.

It looks like the comic preceded the show by a year or two. Earlier than that comic, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, was another comic called Tales from the Xenozoic, which started it. There was even a game.

Re: Inspired By: Pushing Daisies

Really sad to see the show go...hear they have 3 shows in the can. Guessing they will be on the DVD.

I really wish this design had some of the magic of the show. The design is pretty boring and maybe half a step above stick figures.
