I only vote for shirts I would buy. There are many designs that are great, but I wouldn't wear. The comment section is a good way to praise the artist if you aren't going to buy.

One part of Threadless' system I do like is that you are able to rate a design separately on its merit and be able to specify additionally that you would buy it.

I must say, I am not a fan of this style, nor a fan in general of cute animals, and generally dislike anime/chibi. Additionally, I dislike the fact that the same few artists continually win, when most of the time, there are a few much more deserving designs.

However, that being said... I really like this design. I am not sure exactly what it is that outweighs my dislike of that style or cute animals, but I think it is the color, composition and sense of motion. I didn't recognize the Chinese Zodiac until it was pointed out, and I don't think many who glance at this shirt as it is being worn will either, but that definitely as another level to the design in general to appreciate.

So ignoring my own prejudices, discontent with nature of the voting at Woot... you got my vote, and I would gladly wear this shirt.

Well done, it is a very appealing design.

I like it, though I admit it would be more appealing(to me personally at least) if they were pushing actual daisies as opposed to the pot holding the daisies.
But that'd be hard to draw anyway xD

All I see is people that wank to Ocarina of Time defending the bad art on this shirt.

The artist's other shirt had decent quality art on it, but this one? Really? If you can't pull off the sort of "chibi" art-style, please stray away from it, because this looks horrid.

The third Link's mouth is ripping through the side of his face, while the first Link's mouth isn't. WHAT?!

People will vote for any shirt with video game characters on it, regardless of the quality of art. I'm going to draw a shirt with stick-figure Mario on it and watch people jerk it out.

EDIT:
I just now figured out the outer two Links are interacting with the middle one; it is hard to tell because there are no shadows, no ground, nothing connecting them as a single image, so there really isn't a focal point and your eyes wander around, leaving the three Links as separate entities to consider. Not very artistically sound or well thought-out.

This shirt doesn't feel stiff like I felt the Thundercats and Basic Training shirts were (I know, I know, different artists. . . but your art styles seem very inspired by eachother).

I love the colour scheme and the movement of this shirt, and I actually got the Chinese zodiac reference right away (as I studied Mandarin for three years of high school), so this shirt got my vote right off the bat.

I know the derby is over... I can't believe I missed your entry. The artwork is incredible and everyone who commented to you is completely right. This should have gotten way, way more attention. Helpful suggestion to you... maybe if you would have zoomed in on the fly trap where all the "brighter" colors were heavier in the submission pic everyone sees straight away then this would have gotten more attention. Just think of that next Derby you enter, I'd really like to see your art printed, it's well worth it! GMV Sorry

This was the first shirt I voted for in this derby. I'm no fan of Survivor (actually watch very little TV), but am a great fan of Drakxxx's artwork. Ordered Nightmare Circus for my daughter (could really only afford one and she's spoiled :D )and was really hoping to get this one too.

I did come up with one, but the concept of pushing just didn't seem as evident and instead, they looked like they were leaning against the flowers.
I had also come up with one with worms pushing the roots, but again, it didn't quite get the same point across.

Wow, I'm actually really surprised at how high this rose in the votes. I usually have two or three shirts that I love and vote for, even knowing that they won't do well. I don't know why I'd pegged you for one of those, afraid no one else would like the simplistic approach to the theme I guess. Anyway, here's hoping you'll make it to the fog.
