It would be "cooler" with a mama polar bear trying to cover her cub's eyes.

MHBoston wrote:I like how you've faded the figures with the half tones you've used but you're way out of the print area by going out to the edges like that.

That is a concern of mine, but I'd like to see if the staff think that it's a problem before I resubmit.

Do you happen to know if there are any guidelines for the printable area on woot tees?

kdubbs29 wrote:I disagree. Though, on further review, the smile can be sinister, but the eyes aren't selling it. Something just doesn't look ominous to me. It looks like death just wants to be his friend or something. It's a great concept though.

The eyes, a stylized skull? As far as the look goes, evil is always seductive! Albeit in a cute sort of way in this case.

Re: Inspired by Baywatch!

The pucker cleavage makes me think those grapefruits are fake, and since it is Baywatch it's a good chance they probably are. But I'm confused, would that be silicon or Botox? Please post a larger detail image so we can get a better look.

Re: Inspired By: Blue Planet (resub)

A slight reworking of the design I submitted for "the sea." It seemed to go over fairly well then and the biggest complaint then was that it was on a white shirt. I hope this is better!

Point is it's off topic. Theme is to reinterpret the title. Not what happens in the show.

Ack has a point. I'm not sure this falls into theme but the idea is cool.

Why did you halftone the whole bottle? I could see using the halftone to show the fizz. I dunno, this is coming from a guy who has yet to use a halftone.

It's a good cast. Looks hilarious. I'm excited to see how Bill's grown up.

Isn't that the show by Rob Thomas, creator of Veronica Mars? The show has lots of VM cast members and guests, including Veronica herself, Kristen Bell. I'm gonna watch.

And Freaks and Geeks is the best show EVER.

The copyright for most of the Fleischers' cartoons was not renewed by Famous or Paramount, and entered the public domain. This included the Color Classics series, the Betty Boop series, the Superman series, and Gulliver's Travels.

Re: Inspired by: Firefly

Here's why I enjoy this shirt so much:

1. I don't mind the weird color palette. I love blue shirts and the fire looks good on blue.

2. The picture tells a cute story about a fire-fighting fly.

3. I loved the show "Firefly" but even people who don't care about the show Firefly can enjoy this shirt because it is still a joke about fireflies.

4. It teaches the kids a valuable lesson about smoking and that instead of hanging around manure all day you could go out and get a job and be useful!

Solid design, but for some reason (don't take this the wrong way) your wolf reminds me of a Pokemon...

Mightyena.

Must be those dark-colored feet.

(Don't ask me how I know about post-1st gen. Pokemon, okay!?)

My woot! purchases: The Original Blue Hedgehog; To The Top in the Style of Da Vinci; Deforestation; The Owliminator; Yeti & Robot; Electronica (The holy grail of all shirts... THE SYNTH SHIRT! Wahoo! ^.^)
...and 1 Random. (I hope Woot! doesn't pull another Random Roulette on me for a long time; I need to hang on to my money!)
