So this will get rejected.

The thumbnailneeds to be the same color as the shirt.

Fix that and re-submit it!

Re: Art Deco Hell Train

This is way too busy to me. What's the thing at the top? It looks like a separate design just thrown in there. I would have just done the train and not the little city scape and the thing at the top.

Rofl. It's Friday dude. I'm on cruise control straight through the weekend.

You know, I might do a cake design kinda like a sky scraper and have it showing on the side. I also thought about a WWI tank...I already made 2 designs but won't sub them (check the link in the signature for them), but they stink.

Anywho, thanks for the encouragement. I'll sketch something in an hour or 2...

I think if it was more apparent that the ship is on the ocean floor this would be a no brainer for the fog. Great work.

Re: Blown Away

OOooh I just got it, nice.

Still, I'd change the proportions, the flower (head? seeds?)is rather small.

I think it'd look better if you added a bunch more seeds instead of just making them larger, though.

Hmmm.

I'm picky, I just don't always express it

I'd make the blue black, so it wouldn't be a huge square of ink.

Or put it on blue?

mglosser wrote:The Art Deco movement, characterized by strong geometric and angular decorative elements, was very much influenced by the public's interest in ancient Egyptian art due to the discovery of King Tutankhamun's Tomb in 1922. In the spirit of this, I used Cleopatra VII who was said to be the goddess Isis incarnate as a means to convey this Egyptian theme.

That's funny! I've been trying to get through that book for YEARS. Seems like something worth reading, but it just doesn't hold my interest. I always think, just read a little more, it'll get good.

Nice work here. I wondered who was going to take on the naked guy. This time period suits your style.
