Just an illustration of how music brings color into our lives. I know that it's not nearly as good as many of the already posted designs, but I hope you like it!

Actually, I'm IN the younger crowd, and I think it's somewhat problematic that the resub's only real difference is some musical notes and an iPod. I mean...really?

I thought the first one was perfectly fine, BUT SINCE IT WASN'T, I don't know if this is really any more or less on theme just by the added elements.

So, for me, it's not so much whether the concept is on topic, because I think it is, but I don't think the resub is any more on topic than the original, REJECTED submission.

Re: Jungle Rhythm

I wanted my shirt to be reminiscent of the music I loved as a kid: fun songs full of singing cartoon animals. I think I captured that. ^_^

This design is six colours (including white) on kelly green.

I think the original issue was that it wasn't clear that it was a reference to pirating music as opposed to DVDs or anything else- I think the subtle change makes it clear that it's a music reference (the music notes on the bandana were supposed to tie it to the theme, but I'm sure the rejectionator didn't see them anyway) If I'm mistaken about the issue then I guess I'll be sadly disappointed later, but I think that the reference is about as clear as it can get now.

Wasn't he originally a lot lower on the shirt? Not complaining--I like high placements. And mythology. And music. Good luck--he deserves it!

Drakxxx, I am in love. This is right up my alley and the placement is fantastic. This is so much better than your other entry. The line work on this and the overall concept is great. I'd love a black shirt too, as I don't have one from shirt woot yet. My husband usually buys shirts on his shirt.woot account, and I know he plans on voting for this. We've both been waiting to see it! If this places, I will buy it and it will be my first purchase on my own shirtwoot account. :> I'm very pleased to see such a great and grownup looking design. Even though I can't vote, I am totally cheering you on.

Beautifully done!

You might be pleasantly surprised. My first yellow shirt was Buffalo Sunset, and I was apprehensive at first...but when I got the shirt, I loved it. None of the shirt templates do the yellow color justice, it's much prettier in person. I'm pale white, redheaded, and freckled...and I think the yellow looks great on me.

GAH why must all your beautiful swirly designs be on black shirts? I understand the contrasts make the designs pop out more, but I often can't give you my vote because I can't keep buying black shirts... This is a beautiful design, but venture out with some other shirt colors.

On that note, I bought your 12 Angry Beasts because it was on cranberry. =D

Re: The Last Song

Very nice, Drakxxx

I liked your original sketch a lot (maybe even a little more), but I like this a lot too.

Also, while I like your other entry, this one has a better flow to it. Nicely composed as well.

I kinda hate voting for people who are always in the fog because a lot of people do it simply because they're fans, but this one definitely deserves it in my opinion. GMV

First thought was clip art. Second thought was it was a more mainstream version of the Coq Music shirt up for support on Cameesa by Monsieur Pimpant.

Just doesn't strike me as original. Sorry.

The Nightmare Circus design printed with hot pink (instead of a sort of cherry red). I don't think they can mess up white, though!

FWIW, though cherry ink would have been better with the NC design, I love hot pink and I sort of like the misprint. It will go with a lot of my stuff.
