Re: Almost on Both Sides

So are all four of the cat's legs outrageously long in comparison to its body, or what?

People are strange when you're a stranger
Faces seem ugly when you're alone
Women seem wicked when you're unwanted
Streets are uneven when you're down

What do you mean ALMOST cool? The keytar is the essence of cool. Sweet design, though.

Am I able to upload a new picture with a more centered design into this derby entry or do I have to resubmit a new deal all together? Hopefully the "Penguin Ban" will not apply here. I drew penguins all night!

You can resubmit it with the design shifted, plenty of people have done similar things so recently that even I'm aware of it

While I recognize you're one the most talented designers here, some of your shirts I couldn't see myself wearing recently. This one I would though well done.

Cool, you know what I'm talking about! Ah, I used to love those personal pizzas. I'm sure I still have some bookit pins too, as I was quite the reader in elementary school, so I got a ton of those pins, heh.

Re: straight piece

It'd be easier to recognize as Tetris if it were a little more rectangular, and there were gaps in the rows.

Maybe put a frame around it so you can see that the top piece has exceeded the board limits and make the next piece the one that was really needed to clear several rows.

The best part was if everyone in class completed bookit and then you got the end of the year pizza party at pizza hut.

Re: Almost Flying

Resub and place it 1" away from any seams (edges)
It has promise if it survives the "no flying penguins" thing.

Re: Forget the Toys, I Want the Moon.

LOVE IT!!!

I don't know if you planned this, but I like the idea that books (knowledge etc.) can help you reach your goals/dreams.

The school teacher in me approves. (As does the read-a-holic)

I WANT!!!

I'm picky, I just don't always express it

Yup, they were the best, though I can only remember going to one. I was the slowest eater there (well, really I'm the slowest eater everywhere!) and the principal of the school (who took us because we were a small bunch) tried to make me feel better by telling everyone how it's good to eat slow and the importance of chewing your food properly!

I was afraid this could get rejected. Though, I would like some clarification why a Rubix Cube would get rejected, but the numerous Nintendo game pads usually don't.

"Mmmm, breastplate . . . "

Sorry, I'm overdue for dinner and chicken is sounding really good right about now

I just went back to look at the separate derby thread and saw your work in progress. Two points:

1) Good job! Overall, this is an improvement on the original design, and you definitely incorporated some good feedback in this iteration, especially regarding the shadows.

2) If memory serves, you were originally correct; the guy who saves her _is_ a prince, not a knight. That being said, the cape did look weird, and the sword in the ground is funny (I dunno, I thought it was funny) so the change isn't bad. And who says you have to go strictly by what the fairytale said, anyway? Creative license

I love the concept - funniest one out there. But wish the princess looked a bit more "princessy" - especially the dress.
