Re: Happily Almost After!
Princess detail. Full comp: (click thumbnail) He had travelled many weary miles, until he came to the beautiful old forest. There, deep in the heart of the woods he found a curious tower, and in it a maiden with the most lovely voice. Entranced, he called out to her and implored her to let down her golden locks. Of course, being in a full suit of armor his depth perception was a tad off, and he found he couldn't even grab hold off her locks. Oh three-dimensional circles he thought, all this way for nothing. First that sleeping princess who wouldn't wake up, and now I'm just a hair short! Guess I'm just another Almost prince charming.
tgentry wrote:I heard "we're almost there" a million times as a kid, and we were never almost there. Even making long trips as an adult, being almost there was the longest, hardest stretch.
YES! I can hear my kid's voices in my head when I look at this! Also makes me think of National Lampoon's Vacation... Nice, TG. Voted.
Re: Now we have to start all over!
Didn't even register it as a slinky until I read your post. Sorry its not for me.
Re: We're Almost There...
Very, very clever. That is exactly what it feels like!
Re: Almost A Legend
The video game pandering is beyond old.
Re: The Knockout Punch
Thanks to the folks in the forums that helped me with some of the design decisions, especially the idea of using royal blue.
Re: Forget the Toys, I Want the Moon.
Loving the sparkles you added. That makes it.
Re: Not so excited any more
Where are the school buses?
Re: deforestation
Oh yeah! I have to have this one. Vote vote vote! Nice sketch too btw.
If this doesn't print, my faith in wooters will officially reach an all time low. This is awesome.

Agreed. Although I have a feeling this will hit the sweet spot with pretty much everyone. Wooters do love trees, and this one is well done AND unique.
Re: yikes!
I had thought about something like this, but you did it much better than I ever would have been able to. Cheers!
Re: It Almost Fits Really Good
I liked the idea in the forums, but I'm not sure you captured the feeling correctly on the octopus. Maybe the extra tentacles should have been coming out the top to make him more uncomfortable. He doesn't look all that bother to me. And the turtle/present doesn't really give enough information to unfold the story without explanation.

OH OH! Unlike the complaints? Welcome to the internet Mr. Star Quarterback.
It's good. I'll be buying this one if it wins. I like the color scheme a lot.
Great stuff. A definite buy for my little dude.
Re: Almost got my wish
I Almost get the big side of the wishbone like EVERY time. I just want my damn wish!
I'm in love with the color, An. ...I mean, SHARP!
Re: I cannot..... Triforce
It is almost a Triforce. He got to the end but can't put the Triforce together quite correctly. =[ I placed some unused pieces of the Triforce of Wisdom on the ground, but I removed them for simplicity. I think you get the point by looking at it. The triforce could be Wisdom, could be all three, depends on what game you want to say this is from. Poor Link; he needs wisdom.
Re: This is the one. I can feel it
I love it! Cute and well drawn!
Re: Almost only counts in...
Gradient is gunna get rejected.

Thanks, Boots.
databit wrote:Great design BootsBoots. I like it. I do have a question of the placement only because of what it looks like he might be grabbing onto if my wife was wearing it.
I tried to measure on myself and I think the kid and the moon will both be above the inappropriate place. I don't have a lot of inappropriate place on myself to work with, though. ;) Thanks for the comments so far, guys!
Enjoy!
Re: almost dead
Hoping simplicity works this week.
Stormink wrote:Boring...
You're a really harsh person. Why not be helpful and say WHY it's boring to you so that the design can be improved? Trolls scuk (gotta beat the filter somehow).
Re: Almost Dawn
Even though it's too creepy for me to wear, I have to say I love the illustration. The sketchy feel and monochrome really works for it. It's great, Drakxxx.
To me, this says "Not a chance in hell" rather than "Almost". But really well illustrated.
kdubbs29 wrote:Wink, wink.
That's a risky title. Not sure what that ball is doing. Holding it's breath? It looks mad so imagine it getting red, not blue.
Nice one drak. This has a very "comic book" look to it. And the placement is great. GMV as always... and possibly my $.
Wow, this is awesome. Drakxxx took a good idea and made it better than I could have ever imagined. Love it! The basic idea behind this shirt is a mere mortal is trying to escape into the sunlight as he is chased down by a horde of vampires. He almost made it, but it's too late. Gotcha! Thanks to everyone for your support, I really hope this design will make a strong showing this week!
Cute, Robbie! The expressions are great.
Re: Hold the Elevator!
Is that the inside or the outside of the elevator? It looks like the outside due to the thing over the doors. So shouldn't the arm coming out be a person going in?
Shoot for the moon... until the table lag breaks and he gets multiple bone fractures and a slight concussion. Great design this week, I am sure my girl friend will love this. GMV as always madam. Great job! Edit: BTW, I am jelous of how well you draw a stack of books...
Re: Sad Crying Clown
This is the Clown that almost pulled off the biggest stunt the circus had ever seen. The clown that can almost smile. The clown that is almost happy.
my 4 year old always refers to the moon as hers. she's very specific that the moon belongs to her and anyone else using it is just borrowing it from her. if this wins, i will definitely have to get her one.
treebirdoctopus wrote:To me, this says "Not a chance in hell" rather than "Almost". But really well illustrated.
I agree on both points.
Re: Almost on Both Sides (Green Scheme)
Ok, I'll admit that it looks good on the green, too. The bunnies look like they're glowing a little and I like that.
