Very cool! Though I wish the big gears in the back were a little more subtle... maybe smaller or one of the brown colors. They seem a bit big and dark in the back, to me anyway.

So is this another one of your trees? It looks just like your bouquet of circles in the previous derby--just with some gears added this time. Where's the steam?

I tried them in the other colors I had, but all of those colors were much, much more noticeable than the black. Black was my best option.

Thanks. I find choosing the design detail almost the most difficult part of the whole derby process.

Perhaps next time I should start with an enticing detail and then work out...

I like this, just seems soft b/c the metal is a cream color.

Also, I'm not sure why there's steam coming out of the top. Just seems like extra crowding for me to help make the point, but I think if you colored it to look more metallic it might get the point across better.

Nice work and nice concept though!

I like it Iceman...and the colors work well with the design. I usually don't like cream shirts, but this one I do!

Do you all think this will get banned? Of course, the woot powers can ban whatever they feel... They own the site and they are the gods of this realm. But in my defense, the pentagon, or more specifically this exact shape of pentagon is used for diamonds and represents all of the positive qualities of diamonds. As for the more obvious reference, the generic shape is the only thing that links it to what you are most possibly currently thinking about...

I love the watchman! Awesomely done. I think the design might be stronger without the gear elements, or at least more subtle or smaller gear elements... to me it distracts a little from the fantastically detailed watchman guy.
