Yeah I had a darker blue for the gear background at first but I was afraid that it wouldn't show up at all if it actually printed.

Got lots of steam, no need for cow bell on this one... But may need slightly less color... Is that seven colors?
I like the design, would not like to see it disqualified on too many colors.

Pretty, and interesting color scheme.. though the color of the shirt doesn't look like the orange in the templates I have, which is a much paler color. This looks almost red.
Woot shirt colors really confuse me, everyone posts them differently.

Anyway, very pretty design.

Ha, you're obviously not getting it or you just have a poor sense of design. This is obviously not a tree nor is it similar to the previous design.

The only similarity I can see is the fact that the gears and orbs in this design have the same shape as the circles in his previous one. Unless you want to consider all vector/grungy designs to be the same.

And assuming that every design has to make use of steam just because of the steampunk theme is a great misconception.

It was quite interesting trying to do this with only 6 colors and in a flat matter. I'm much more used to doing soft shading..

After seeing a few 'steampunk' pictures, and designs, I started reading it- The Steampunk genre of fiction is the source of this stuff, after all. It is very different than this sort of 'clean' Victorian-inspired, perfect world that we usually see in these designs. Much grittier, much more real than we usuually see. Steampunk devices ought to operate if they are built, and that's what I was trying to express with my design. Of course, that's assuming that the world is populated by wombats!

I love this! Very well done.

Nah, don't think it will get banned. It is a diamond shape, not a copyrighted symbol. Had it had an 'S' in there, then you could worry.

And apparently I am confident about it enough to make a double post on it.

Great job with the highlights on the metal.

The thumbnail is so creepy, and then "poof" you see the whole thing, and it's different ... still creepy, but not in a really scary kind of way anymore;)
