The first thought that entered my head when I saw it 'n' many derbies ago was monosyllabic and downright rude, kinda like my way of acknowledging a potential winner. It's a neat trick to produce something as simple as this that still get's the message across so effectively. Furthermore, it's both cute and funny. So I'd have to say:"Well done to the designer!" Amen, huh?

Or, actually, poorly executed as nearly anyone who sees you wearing it, wouldn't get it. Heck, over half of the people on here didn't get it. It's a cutsie kid's shirt, and that is all. I've got absolutely nothing agaisnt cute either, I own some shirts that are "cute". But this is over the line... Alas, I thought it was off topic from the exercise theme. It's like fable said, "hey, I'll throw in some armbands and call it a day.". And, where's the fourth leg? It looks hurried through. Nothing against fable either, I own "You Have To Try This Guys".

It looks like the cute vote is going to keep this from printing.

It is a great design, and I'm hopeful that it will get printed somewhere if woot and the wooters don't want it. Loopy is pretty good about getting her stuff on other sites.

Well, This was in the derby about the same time as I saw Kung Fu Panda, and the film had all these animals and the Panda. So I always thought that the panda was missing.

Re: Just A Little Further...

A squirrel can just jump over to the other branch. Or climb up the other tree. That's what they do. All day long. This design doesn't make sense on any level. It's like a shirt with a giraffe getting a ladder to reach something it can already reach with it's long neck. Yes, it's that dumb. This place is now the wasteland. If you voted for this you should take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself "is pretending to be a preschooler when I'm really an adult cute, or just really sad?"

I adore this design... the organic flow, the colors, the style... just wish the girl wasn't in it.
Especially her arm, that looks like you can see muscle striations in it, thus making it look like she has no skin. The girl I can just do without, but the muscley weird arm adds creepy to an otherwise lovely design. I could *maybe* try and overlook the girl, but can't overlook that arm...wouldn't buy it because of that, unfortunately....
but love the top 3/4 of the design.

Vote!

It's really annoying to see some amazing designs go to waste while a simple, boring dog and fox is in the fog. Do we have a community of children voting now?

Agreed. "You Have To Try This, Guys" shows some Monty Python inspired humor and genuine creativity. This just shows that someone took a children's book illustration and put it on a shirt to win $1,000. I can't blame fablefire for this since I like money too, but voting for this basically says "I don't value originality." Maybe look at some of Edgar's designs and ask if this really should be printed over those.

I see this shirt as being kind of similar to the Beatles' "I Am the Walrus." Sure you could try to interpret it for some sort of meaning, but it's intended to just be crazy and cool and is more fun that way. Just guessing as to the artist's intention though.
