I can!!! its way better than that cartoony girly shirt! we need more non foo foo, cartoony, happy go lucky, anime shirts on woot! this is perfect! Not to mention this is a way cooler design than that or the anime fox jumping over the anime dog.

Does anyone know if woot's hold is 60 days from the original derby(in this case "The Sea") or from the do-over?

As for the people saying the background looks brown... on my computer at work it looks like a really dark green but at home its olive! it also dose not blend in with the background at all. so it may just be your monitor settings.

Hmm. I thought the arm was the coolest part of the design. Interesting how it ruins the print for others...

Creative thought process has elements, but it not pure shiny. I'd argue that Sudden Death isn't shiny at all. And since Plan B and Zelda were made of clip-art and lifted concepts respectively, that leaves Scurvy as the sole item of this style to get a print prior to the rise of the Otaku.

Even so, with five prints in 52 weeks, even if ALL of them were shiny desu, it would still be out of the ordinary that that style would win for her.

Thanks for the support on this one guys. This design is definitely special to me, as it's one of the few that I actually managed to illustrate exactly as I imagined it.

The only concept of the design is to literally depict a phrase, and that phrase has already been literally depicted at least two times before in the same medium. Therefore, I would conclude that recreating the same concept yet again in the same medium is, yes, unoriginal.

I really can't get over how nicely this shirt is executed. Its a "cute" design you could say but for once that doesn't make me dislike it at all. Really good job! Make sure you put this somewhere else in 60 days it will perform magnificently!
