This is really lovely, although it's a bit hard telling what's going on with the face.

krisrobinson wrote::P Thanks. I thought this would beat my Hamster dance one, which to be honest was an after thought entry. It's hard to predict what woot! voters will go for.

Indeed. Sometimes there are weird fluctuations/trends and it gets confusing right when you think you've figured out your audience.

I love the natural progression on this. The timing is perfect.

Re: Rain Dance

I'm always so envious when people do a great job using the color of the shirt as a big part of their design. You pulled it off so well here. The water looks great and those leaves are practically glowing. GMV

Re: Wall Flowers

Haha, I can relate to this.
I love the way the disco ball was done(and the light bouncing off the walls). The light speckles end up squaring the whole design off somehow though. I'm not sure why that bothers me (which I know, isn't very helpful) but it does.

Still, great job.

A link to the full (non blurry...woot submission made it blurry ) composition.

Inspired by Fantasia. Even as a kid I looked at a skinny crocodile holding a hippo aloft and thought 'Yeah...that just wouldn't work out.'

Re: Epic Dance

I also like the idea! However, I think more movement is necessary? I think on the robot's end at least. Perhaps the monster should be dipping or twirling the robot. Right now since we cannot see the robot's face(and he's not doing much), it's a little less engaging.

Though it looks like they've already decimated the city, so they're probably on their slow dance now. ;)

edit: I keep coming back to that reflection, and I like it more each time.

Thanks so much! I remember copy/pasting/flipping when I first tried to do reflections in photoshop(in ancient times). My result was always pretty cheesy. This time though, I liked it. So thank you! Coming from you, the compliment means a lot.

Oh sure, shove it in my face that you know how to type in Chinese characters and I don't. Also that you can still read those characters....is that your name? I miss raincoats that came with pants.

Re: Lord of the Dance v2.0

This is my second entry this week. I couldn't believe no one had done a Lord of The Dance shirt, so I did one. This is possibly my favorite shirt ever.. that I designed. Hope you guys and gals like it as much as I do!!

*UPDATED DESIGN*

This is a slightly alter version of my LotD entry earlier in this derby. I changed the pose to give a more dancey look, and made a few other small changes to clean up the overall design. Thanks a ton for the suggestions on this one!!

Check out my Disco Dancing entry too!!!

Not sure what that adds to the design, which I think is great btw, but you should remove it since the 'no text' rule.

lol. I was thinking something along the lines of using real helicopters too but I wasn't sure how.

Oh! Flash thought, what if you shrink the dance and attach him as the actual rotary blades on a 4th copter? Or on all 4? I think that would be way awesome.
