They're people. I guess I just draw my lines simply.

Re: my yellow flame she dances

Nice work, having set the design off center did make it feel a little lopsided, but then the design in leaning or 'jumping' towards the center so that mostly makes up for it.

yeah, it is interesting, but also yeah, it can't be printed and will get rejected for being outside the print area. Nobody is effin' with you, just trying to help.

Ah... ok, thanks for explaining... though, I think I'm still slightly confused by her ballet outfit? Since the shoes he gave her aren't ballet shoes and them dancing in the background looks like normal dancing. But it looks like others are appreciating the metaphor, so it's all good: )

This is very cute! I like the style, LOVE the frog raincoat, the reflections are great and the bee is a nice 3rd element. The only thing that looks a teeny bit off is the bear - he/she is very cute, but a bit flatter than the rest of the design. But even with that bit of flatness, still adorable!

Like the sketchy style, the way you did it it looks great on a tee, and I like the more subtle colors - not too contrasting, I like that in a tee. You should resubmit!

That's awesome, both the style and what it is. I normally prefer dark shirts, but I think I'd buy this.

I haven't been on Woot that long so i guess i must have missed the insightful and realistic critiques. Usually i've just seen him going around dissing on designs that deserve to win, just because everyone else likes the shirt but he doesn't.

You're not kidding, I thought it was a relatively recent addition to the Disney Character List but then, I'm more of a Doer than a Viewer. Thanks for the input. My earlier rant was to indicate that I'm not in the habit of ripping off u-tube videos, or any other copyright material.

I think it would be cooler if the entire shirt was color of the background, but this is definitely still my favorite. :]

Thank you for your post. I totally agree with you on that. I would love to have the whole shirt in this color if Woot had it available. So I decided to go with the simple white T and use the color as background to the design. Glad you like it!

adamsw216 wrote:The reflections being the same size as the things its reflecting kinda removes some of the depth I think this could have.

I agree on the depth. I probably should've played with perspective/size, but I decided to keep it simple (i.e. lazy, I suppose). I think I might fix that and submit elsewhere after this derby is over. Thank you for that!

I agree with the flatness too, but this time that's something I meant to do! ;) However, I probably should've tried to make the girl look more flat.. Does anyone remember those awesome stickers that were line-less and in the shape of awesome things like bears and dragons and unicorns? That's sort of what inspired these characters and the style.

Anyways, thank you everyone for your kind words and support!

This is a great concept! Dancing in space with the earth (or planet of your choice) 'below' them is such a romantic idea. I love the big windows. Makes me think of some awesome space ship...with..well big windows.

Re: Maniac on the Plate

Haha, I like the way you set this up, but I must say that the syrup looks just a little...un-syrupy. I think it might be because it's such a flat color with no highlights or suggestion that it should be translucent. Really though the placement of everything on the shirt is great. Not sure why a breakfast would be dancing, but the idea of my own food trying to entertain me before I eat it is an amusing one. ;)
