My quote is Douglas Adams's quote "The meaning of life is 42" When asked what that meant he explained that there are exactly 42 dots on a pair of dice and the meaning of life is to find your own paradise or "pair o' dice" And hence my design

Could you link a source? I didn't think Douglas Adams ever explained why he chose 42. And did he actually say "the meaning of life is 42"? He wrote that 42 is the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything, but did he actually say that it is the meaning of life?
