In keeping with the theme, I "inked" this before scanning it in and colorizing it. I did it in my "Order From Chaos" style, hence the name Chaoptic. I used Maori/tribal influences as well. I would have taken it further had I not run out of time, but I do like how it came out. If you do as well, please spare a vote. Critiques welcome, good or bad.

I decided to go for a design this time that was a little less cute and a bit more realistic - (since there was some hella complaining going on last derby about cute designs). I wanted to keep the colors pretty muted and the shading simple so the tattoo would be the main focus. Originally I had some crazy-bad tribal/tech tattoo that just completely wasn't working; I think watching some LA Ink helped me come up with a better, more aesthetically pleasing idea.

When it comes to tattoo cover up, it all depends on the original design. When that tattoo is a timeless "Mom" piece there are only a few options and unless you'd like a thermometer tatted on your chest, it's time for a nice hot cup of Chamomile Tea.

This is a tribute to anyone who has gotten a Chinese tattoo without knowing how to read Chinese. It translates to "Illiterate" or maybe it doesn't, how would you know...unless you can read Chinese...(ironically I also cant read it)
