Thanks... that was the whole reason I ended up doing the shirt. Keep the votes up, it will at least help me have a shot at an honorable mention.

How the h-e-double-hockey-sticks is this not back into the fog? Maybe you should have put a hidden dragon in the rock formations.

Excellent work, TG! Completely on theme.

Much as I prefer the h/g, you are now using 7 colors.

Excellent artwork, GMV.

It seems to be stuck in the rankings, would you consider a different color scheme for this one?

Yeah I would like to see a larger version as well. Looks a lot like gradients from here.. Looks cool either way though. Just doesn't look like it will make the cut.

It'll definitely show up, from a very long way away it wont but thats how pixels work. But the graphic is pretty big like 14'' across so if your standing next to someone they'll know.

Re: The elusive TaMoko Kiwi

i married into a maori family, so its nice to see some new zealand inspired themes going on i wanted to do a traditional style maori tatoo on my Zebra design but my husband explained to me how their tatt's actually represent different things and seeing as how he didn't know what i decided better to be safe and go abstract. but i do think their style tatt's are awesome, and i love your style. Well done!

Re: W.W.I.D. (resub)

You know I initially liked this because I thought it was a play on how everyone is constantly deifying Jesus even though he was just another guy like the rest of use who had to make all sorts of difficult decisions. I thought that indeed, Jesus was passing judgment and telling everyone wearing one of those bracelets to ask themselves WWID as opposed to WWJD. Then I realized it was just a joke based on the fact that Jesus was so great that even he loved that stupid egotistical WWJD slogan.

I must admit that early on I was skeptical about the design being a tattoo. I am from upstate NY and I have never seen a tattoo like that. Looks like it is more of a West coast surfing culture tattoo. That being said, it is a shame yours isn't in the fog, it is one of the more visually appealing, and graphically-wearable shirts in the derby. Good luck!

Just spotted a very similar joke over at BoingBoing, appears to have been posted back in May.

Not a shirt though so this design should still be in the clear.

I've actually been thinking about that all morning. But doing this in color seems to stray too far from it's traditional roots. I think black on white would be striking but from reading the boards people seem to put up a lot of fuss about not liking white tees. So I'm split between spending a beautiful day outside or redesigning a late submission. We'll see

The only connection to tattoos is that you added two tattoos onto Jesus. This isn't really on theme. And isn't this a celebrity likeness?

Yeah... I always thought Jesus was a good looking white guy with flowing, clean hair. Read a book.
