Dunno if that qualifies as a diss. I mean, nobody else gets a special warning. And technically he would have had a warning if he had bothered to check himself.

That was a 'Woot' shirt. Sore Thumbs was the first Shirt.Woot 'design'. You're thinking of the Launch shirt though.

Woot tee, be the screaming monkey (monkey cape) was offered during a woot-off on the woot.com site BEFORE the shirt.woot site was launched. However, the monkey shirt does have a shirt woot tag. So call it a shirt.woot pre launch shirt.

I would like to get another screaming monkey shirt. I had to order a 2x because it wasn't offered in 3x when it was on the woot-off.

Oh my sweet infant baby Jesus Christ, -Living the Plan B.-

It came before my precious first encounter with Woot!, but I would kill and eat every single person in a hundred foot radius of me for a chance at that shirt.

Spring-atron Remix and Cool Breeze, definitely!

And I've just noticed the wear-n-tear on my Say No to Scurvy shirt, so why not bring it back to life as well?

I bought Watch It Grow over a year and a half ago. Still wear it and love it.

Bring it back Woot! My girlfriend wants one and I love spending money on her! Can we strike a deal??

Edit: They didn't have girly sizes back then (I think that was before we found out women existed on the internet...), so this would be perfect!

i read some of the comments on wil's page where he talks about his shirt getting reckoned... and i'm a little pissed at his attitude. specifically, the whole "i was assured that it would be up for way longer than 2 months or else i wouldn't have designed it". you would think he would realize that many shirts don't make it past the first week and be thankful that his made it as long as it did. not to mention the fact that he didn't even do the majority of the work for the thing, but got almost all of the credit(despite telling people to credit the no-name artist in the original thread).

not sure if this has already been talked about somewhere else, but i just saw it, and had to comment.

Height Envy. I bought two. One for my tall, slender friend, one for me (not tall, not slender). Hers was a bit too small, and her daughter (also tall and slender) now wears it. Everyone in town compliments me on mine and I'd like to have a backup when I finally wear it out.

I read his blog entry. Wil comes off as kind of a whiny egomaniac.

I'm in for at least one more Tin: Old Skool and I've got two friends who are too. It's easily my favorite shirt and I get unsolicited (positive-to-ecstatic) comments about that shirt frequently when I wear it...and I wear it A LOT which will surely shorten its useful life. C'mon Woot, hit me with this classic! Clang!

I hope that shirt never comes back. I might feel bad for him if he actually designed the shirt, or if it was original or if it was well executed.

This shirt has haunted me ever since the day I passed it up! I'd love a second chance to buy it! Easy Optimism

And I guess I'll throw another vote behind the Living Plan B shirt. as well as a vote for lowering the price of these shirts for pity's sake.

I doubt I'll ever buy any of these classics, $15 would be more reasonable.

Good.

The fewer people want to pay $20, the less chance we get the really horrible stuff.

And I concur. Wil Wheaton is a whiny bitchell. His shirt sold on his name alone, which is more than he should expect being that his entire fame comes from being a child star on the geekiest show ever created. What a shame his uninteresting and worthless design lasted slightly less time than he presumed, even though it lasted for far more time than it deserved, and had unfair promotion that helped it outlast far better shirts.

Ozzie2191 wrote:Most of the earlier Woot!Shirts were really just fantastic. My Lime in the Coconut is possibly my hands down favorite as people either instantly recognize it and start singing or go "what in the world is that?"

The first phoenix shirt offered, the red one with it coming down off the shoulder, has been worn so many times by me that the ink is peeling off. Much happy if that one comes back. I despise red shirts, but yet that one, I love. It is the only red shirt I own, actually.

Do you mean Fire Swallower? Because that's my most favorite and I definitely want it again.

if they reprint "angry day" i would like a slightly different placement. i got the women's large and (if i remember correctly) it printed slightly too low. i ended up giving it to a friend who loved it b/c it just looked a little weird on me, i thought. not sure if anyone else thought that, or maybe mine was just a misprint and i never knew.

After seeing many people ask for Tuesday Is Gonna Be Rough, I looked at it, and I have to say, now that I have seen it, I want it even more than Say No To Scurvy. I just started laughing out loud when I saw it, and so did my mom when I showed it to her.

That shirt just dropped off the Reckoning less than a week ago. Hell, those who ordered it last Monday probably haven't even received it yet. I hardly think it's reached "classic" status after just five days of being unavailable.

We get emails now. I don't know when the policy started but it seems that when a shirt hits 15th+, there's a warning email:

"Uh-oh, fablefire. Shirt.Woot here. We don’t want to alarm you, but…

Your shirt, The Quick Brown Fox, is currently sitting at #17 on our Reckoning chart (http://shirt.woot.com/blog/?cat=reckoning). That means it’s in danger of being Reckoned out of print this coming Monday...

Kinda silly, I think. If you don't already know where your shirt stands every weekend, you don't really deserve it to be saved. It's an easy check and updates in real time, except between monday noon and tuesday midnight. If a designer cares about their design sticking around, they know.

I'm sure somewhere between vital appearances at Young Scifi Character Confest 09 and laughing for the two milliseconds of humor imbued in the latest dieselsweeties, Wil could have found a second to see how his tee was doing. It's not like he put any time into drawing the damn thing. To throw a hissy, as if woot owed him something for the schlock he foisted on them, is indicative of the sort of person who would design something so trite, as well as its buyers

$20? just because i haven't been buying as many derby shirts lately doesn't mean i've got money saved up. please be kind and think of our pocket books, or lack of.

but anyway, i'd like to see finding technicolor, nobody's perfect, & sliced bread. not sure i'd shell out $20, but i'd think about it again.

also, its interesting how many shirts people want that i have (sputnik, bats, and angry day) and how many i have and don't really want (new waves and curious turtle though its a bit messed up).

I wear the heck out of my delicious tee, good choice. I'd add angry day to the list but I bought 3 when they were available. I would also have to think hard if tin old school came back up.

I'd like to see a remixed suburban blitzkrieg, as the original colors bugged me a bit but I love the overall design.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH........ whatever.
