Re: 4 Square 4 Life

As a former 4-square fiend, I love this. However, I fear it'll get rejected because the big 4 in the center might not be considered "incidental".

yeah, the original design had "Tri-State Four Square Champs" but i took it down because I knew it would get rejected. I'm still having trouble understanding their definition of incidental. C'est la vie.

I was a major band geek. Marched baritone sax. My nephew started his first year of marching band. I am stoked for him! I have already been called the cool uncle after I chaperoned an event.

The imagination part of the drawing is amazing. Really really cool. but something about the kid makes me uncomfortable lol... he looks like a doll or something, I think maybe his head is too big?

Re: Check Yes or No

I check the "No" box. Wait... does the note say, "Do you like me?" or "Do you like this shirt?"

I think I'm probably alone here, but...

I -REALLY- like this... EXCEPT for the part that makes it on theme. I really actually dislike the silhouette bit. but give me the stuff in her mind, blown up bigger on the shirt, and I'd probably woot that in a second.

Awesome concept, but not a fan of the color selection. Anything a bit more "pencil or pen on a pee-chee folder" available?

Re: 4 Square 4 Life

Awesome idea...4-square was the shiznit...but the design just doesnt do it for me. If it carried a bit more of a trophy-styled form I might go for it though. Right now the overall shape just looks a bit forced.

Nope. Me too. For some reason, the outline of the kid bothers me. I wish it was smaller and lower and the imagination part was the larger image. Nevertheless, well executed.

Cute and whimsical! I like the movement in the legs.... though part of me wishes the vine wasn't so tangled up with the legs.... it takes a bit of looking to make sense of it.

Re: A Hellacious Lot.

Depicted here in this design are some rather notable folks in history that you would most likely find in hell. As hell is a rather cruel and ironic place, these people are doomed to an eternity of etiquette schooling and tiny, cramped desks.

I've decided to make a game out of this shirt. The rules are simple. The first person to private message me the correct names of all eight characters portrayed in the image get this crochet amigurumi bird, made by yours truly! (I'll mail it to you so if you win I'll need a mailing address.) I will respond to the private messages and tell you which you have right and which you have wrong, so keep guessing!

Important!! You must private message me so I have a timestamp of who guesses correclty first, as posts can be edited. So, please message me because if you post here and get them all right, it won't count.

Some of the characters will be quite hard to guess unless you watch the History channel all the time like I do. I will provide hints and clues each day to help everyone with the guessing, so keep checking back if you're totally stuck and no one has won it yet!

Here is a detail shot of the image and the characters are labeled by number to correspond with the clues I will be giving out later. And if you're curious about what the design looks like on an actual shirt, here is a link to a larger image.
