Nice. The chalkboard drawings on the back are pretty cool, and that guys expression reminds me of MAD magazine (ugh). Good stuff.

I am amazed that you can't see how this is school related. It is a child trying to concentrate on the paper in front of him, yet his imagination is going wild. Don't you remember being in school and this same thing happening to you? It is most definitely ON theme.

WOW... at this point... I have no idea.

Do you know of any image hosting sites that will work for you?

I personally think by now you ought to just vote for it... it is awesome... believe me.

I MIGHT be a bit biased though.

Thanks for the feedback Xan.

It's supposed to be the kid's thought bubble, I had thought of adding a couple connecting bubbles, but didn't care for them much.

As for the eyes... yes, maybe a bit freaky, but I thought they went well with all the mayhem going on in his imagination.

Re: Book it

This is nice, but as a matter of of principle, I won't vote for anybody displaying that Adder hate badge. You don't like his critiques? Part of putting your art out there is opening it up for critique. Grow a pair and man up.

Except for blocked photos in occasional emails that I don't want to read, anyway, I usually don't have problems with graphics, and I've tried to see this on two different computers, two different operating systems, and two different browsers.

Now I'm really curious what the danged thing looks like. I even tried right-clicking and doing a "save photo as" but I'm not even getting that option -- it's not seeing the photo as being there.

But if other people responded that they couldn't see it, it must be something fairly common that's blocking it. And I'll bet a few more aren't seeing it and aren't commenting, which might be why your vote tally is so low for such an awesome design (taking your word for it) because they're just bypassing it.

But now I'm on a mission to see what's blocking it.

eh... the sketch came out better, but I kinda ruined it. I fully admit that. I tried to do something different with the design and it simply didn't come together. Good effort on my side, but altogether, not a piece I was really pleased with. I'll just tuck the knowledge away for another day, a better design...

20 years of teaching jr. high qualifies me as an expert imo. this is SO on theme. not only that, this is my head during faculty meetings, not to mention the doodles all over the agenda handout.

if this prints, i'm buyin' and wearing to school, obviously : )
