With the way the weather has been in the Midwest, the vikings are still trudging through the snow. No surfboarding to be had here.

At least wooters will get a lesson in what is actually a bad pun today.

I guess I like the distressing, but the greys are so dark I wonder what they'd look like against the black shirt. Might be barely noticeable and blend in, and then the lightest grey/white would be the focus.

The "hang tin" idea is neat, but I think the illustration of it on this shirt makes it a bit confusing. I think it would've been funnier to have had a very generic surfer design with super distressing in light colors, featuring the tin man conquering some waves on a surfboard. This illustration is just so dark though. But as everyone has different tastes I'm sure there are lots of people out there to whom this design really appeals! : )

I wish he was holding a flamethrower instead. Would add a bit of color.

I think I'd act less confused if I was wearing yesterday's shirt.

in the surf crest? yeah, it's kinda there... but not enough to really feel it's a face.

For what it's worth, tin is commonly used to plate other metals to prevent corrosion, since it's not as easily oxidized in air and also resists corrosion in water. So the "wear your shirt" is incorrect or... ironic?

Ah, so speaking of that darkness, I see that this isn't the tin man... it's some scary dude with a beard. So, minus some awesome.

I was looking through the artist's shirts on Emptees and he's got some rather neat stuff. Cool style, some interesting concepts and he uses some neat colors with some of his work. After looking at that, I'm a bit sad that of all his other designs, this is the one that ended up here. Would've liked to have seen some of his color work here!!

Besides that though, I wonder if the artist intended this other shirt of his as a bit of an after shot of "Bearded viking caught in a slightly corny play-on-words tries to ride the waves unsuccessfully". :p
