It is a climbing, coiling, and trailing vine native to southern Superspryteachu! I choose you! and southeast China. Its name comes from the Japanese name for the plant, クズ or 葛 (Kuzu?).

Now when I post it's usually to decry the shameless exploitative design tactics that certain artists use to appeal to the anime subculture on this website for an almost guaranteed win, but I think I have to speak up in this case as well. Though I'm a fervent supporter of video games and clever designs involving video games, I feel I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't comment that this shirt is doing much the same thing that the chibi designers do, just with a different theme. Chibi shirts shouldn't win sheerly by virtue of being chibi and video game shirts shouldn't win simply by virtue of being related to video games either.

Anyways, I applaud the effort and though I am a mario fan I would have to say that I don't feel this design would stand on it's own if it didn't have a mario theme backing it. It's a good effort and I'm sure that many people will vote for it but I am not going to be one of those people.

I knew that some people would view this the way you do when I was designing it. I value your comment... and hey at least its not stick figures.

That's what I was thinking. I usually avoid wearing that color combination like the plague for that reason alone.
