It's referencing Blues Clues (kids show in Nickeloden) if I am reading into it correctly...

The host often has shirts like this and Blue is a big (blue) dog.

Never seen it, but I think that's the way it goes (sorry, Rather, I didn't quite get it)

I'll admit that I'm totally clueless about Blue's Clues. Does that big blue footprint going into the evidence bag mean that the criminal is some sort of blue animal?

Great shirts both yesterday and today. Today's was my favorite from the derby.

@HalfWheat: On the show, "Steve" (the guy in green) would find different items to solve little mysteries. On each of the clues, there would be a blue pawprint from Blue (the dog).

It's easy... He was assaulted by Mr. Salt. I bet he sneezed one too many times in Mrs. Pepper's grinder, if you catch my drift.

Steve never changed that shirt all those years he was on the show. I'll never change this one when it arrives.

It's a good thing that officer is getting all of this down in his handy dandy notebook.

it would seem kind of awkward walking around with this shirt on since it was rumored the guy who played Steve died from a cocaine addiction years ago. Again, tasteless rumors, but still, tiny bit awkward.


Love the reference to Blue though!

Post Blue's Clues, Steve (Burns) was in an episode of Law and Order as a child molester.

I haven't watched the show so this one doesn't mean much to me... however, congrats Rglee - usually a fan of your designs=)

Don’t wear this shirt: if you actually just killed a guy. It’s bold, but it’ll be a really embarrassing mug shot.

It's not embarrassing, it's clever! No one would actually think a real murderer would wear a shirt detailing their crime, therefore, you'll go free and won't have to worry about a mug shot at all.

Ok what was the weapon used? A Salt shaker shank ?

Ok, Blue's Clues is the show it's referencing. In the show, Steve (dead guy) would try to figure out what Blue wanted to do. But Blue was a dog, so she couldn't talk. Instead she would leave her paw print on things to leave "clues" for Steve so he could figure out what she wanted to do. Steve would then figure it out, and kids would try to figure it out with him. Therefore, it helped kids build problem solving. So the cops are bagging the clue, which is probably indicating that Blue murdered Steve.

Steve would write the clues in his notebook and then figure it out. Those pieces of paper on the ground are from his notebook, and if you'll notice, things such as a bottle of poison are the clues. Therefore, Blue wanted to murder Steve.

Geez, you'd think Blue would know better than to leave clues lying around, but maybe habit got the better of her. And poor Mr. Salt ended up in the middle.
