While corn based fuels are a good step towards renewable energy, corn supplies a massive amount of American's diets. If all our fuel were to be drawn from corn instead of fossil fuels, we'd need lots and lots of corn which means lots of land, fertilizers, water, etc (other precious resources).

other than my personal opinion on corn fuels and tofu. I like how they all start off as plants and then how they grow as it goes up.

::thumbs up::

Thanks for the feedback! I do agree that ethanol is not the best option for renewable energy, but I really enjoy that we can literally grow fuel. Tofu is pretty awesome too, I totally agree with that!

It is the same moon. I just took a look at that. All that is different is the rotation.

hehe cute. He isn't letting himself go, he's preparing for winter!
This really captures the essence of squirrels feeding at times though. I have a bird feeder and a squirrel is always on there stuffing his face in a frantic way - much like this guy!

Yup, heart harvester. But in a cuter sense than a Robin Cook novel I think.
Thanks!

Haha, funny--in a weird, cannibalistic sort of way! I remember planting a cookie to try to grow a cookie plant when I was a kid; hopefully burgers that cows would eat are grown on trees!

What would need to be changed? What do you like/dislike?

Please let me know, give some input so that I can do better on the next ones. Don't be shy and don't mince words, I'd rather hear it then not!

Re: Got Mars?

I wish the cow didn't look so happy. I think it would've been funnier to me if the cow looked confused and violated, as his milk was being transported out of him. I also wish the cow had a body, and that his body was in the air, sort of slumped over as it's being raised into the beam.

Would've looked cool on a green shirt too, since not too many people look good in cream (it makes me look like a marshmallow), and the green would've added some zest to the design, just to have another color. The illustration is nice and the lines are very clean, which is always great.

Keep up the good work, keep making sleek designs, and just play around with new ideas. This community is crazy hard to judge concerning what might be popular or well-liked. Just do designs you're proud of and that you get a kick out of, and if it's popular then that's great, and if it happens not to be during a particular derby, then just remember you made a design YOU like, and that's what matters.

But I will say that I really don't believe the black will print very well on a navy shirt.

It seems like most of the black is bordered by other colors, so do you think that will help? I haven't seen a navy shirt with black ink from Woot...but I can see how it might end up looking like the same color.

Thank you for the insight
I did mess around with other t-shirt colors, it did look good in kelly green but other than that, it got a little... messy ;)
Cream seemed to work for the design but I understand what you mean.

The floating cow body is a really good idea, I think I might do it and resub. Like, the cow's butt being the part held higher by the beacon. *giggles*
Thank you

I keep getting a weird optical illusion when I look at the cow. I keep seeing the cow's muzzle as a smiley face, with two eyes with eyebrows and a big smile. That's what I thought it was the first time I saw it, and I wondered why a cow was hiding behind a smiley face. Maybe it's just me.

Thanks for all the support so far guys! I'm pleased to see you like the design this week.

I usually go for a crescent shape when I put a moon in a design or illustration, so hey happen to look the same. The moon took me the least amount of time to do in both designs.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I haven't really done much drawing for a long time.

I color comics for a living, so I usually spend all day doing that don't have time to draw just for fun. The derby gives me a fun reason to make the time to draw again.

This is an actual cute design. On a whole different level compared to bunnies. GMV. The squirrel is the cutest animal I have ever seen on a shirt design. I probably won't buy it just because I am more depressed than the shirt. But you most definitely should win.

Clearly, they haven't. It would be a better "Harvest Moon" if it had that particular golden-orange tint that those moons usually have in autumn.

I def like the texture of the tree, maybe using a darker color than the royal would be nice. I def think it was an awesome idea to make the hole in the tree look like an acorn as well. well done my friend.
