Heart - Tea + Vest = Hrvest
Heart - T + Vest = Hearvest

I believe they were going purely for the sound. Heart sounds like 'HART', thus removing the 'T' and adding a vest makes 'harvest'. However, it's been determined before that plus signs qualify as text.

It also looks like you might have included a photo in this design. Photos have to be owned by you.

Good luck - it's good to see different ideas at the derby

ive always wondered, how do u prove a photo is yours online?

I don't know if it is the perspective of the scythe or the lighting, but it seems a bit off; and then there's that incredibly long arm again...

whoa, seriously? of course someone is going to find something wrong with this design...1. its ramyb...and 2. its a good design...

imo, too many of the shirts in this derby are not very good...but i don't see people rushing to the boards to criticize those shirts...wow

so this shirt gets "could have been fantastic" and "it just looks rushed"...but others don't even get one negative word...amazing...

the arm doesnt really look that bad, does it?

maybe to an "untrained" eye it looks fine...

I believe the general rule on text to be "If it is on the keyboard it is text."

If I went into a mall and asked them to airbrush something appropriate for me to go to see the monster truck show in less than 20 mintues, this is what they would hand me. I really, really can't believe this is getting any votes. Not good on any level.

I'm untrained and it doesn't look fine. It looks like it would go down to his ankle if he straightened it out. Of course he also looks four feet tall.

The little bubble things are cute, but I don't see at all how this fits the derby besides harvest Thanksgiving and stuffing your face, or when bears eat a whole bunch and go into hibernation...

I LOVE the idea of this design, but I'd much rather have it as a print than on a shirt.. mainly because if I looked into the mirror I'd be too freaked out seeing a guy harvesting birds and maybe my soul!

Re: Harvest moon.

Durrr obviously some people on woot have nothing better to do than play video games instead of getting a common education. OBVIOUSLY he's HARVESTING the moon and EATING it... this has nothing to do with the game whatsoever...

I think you need to do a bit more research before you make these wild accusations. I have posted much constructive criticism this derby. In so doing, it is never my intent to be negative.

I said this "could have been fantastic" because I know Ramy can do better (I've seen it and voted for it), not because I think this is awful.

Aside from it being a great design, this is something that I first came to love about Woot shirts - unique and artistic.

Lately the shirts have become graphic illustrations of middle school humor or so obscure that no one can possibly understand them unless they knew about the derby they were entered in.

This one needs no explanation and looks great; that's why I'll buy it if it wins

I agree. I haven't been able to understand why so many incredible designs have been voted out in the last six months in favor of cartoonish kitsch and Rorschach blots. Bah!

Everyone else, thanks for the support. And what's up with me and South Park? This is my second (filthy hippies) unintentional reference to that show! ) Maybe I should start watching it again. Oh right, I don't get that channel. Stupid Direct TV Iame-o cable packages...
