I believe they were going purely for the sound. Heart sounds like 'HART', thus removing the 'T' and adding a vest makes 'harvest'. However, it's been determined before that plus signs qualify as text.

imo, too many of the shirts in this derby are not very good...but i don't see people rushing to the boards to criticize those shirts...wow

so this shirt gets "could have been fantastic" and "it just looks rushed"...but others don't even get one negative word...amazing...

I believe the general rule on text to be "If it is on the keyboard it is text."

I'm untrained and it doesn't look fine. It looks like it would go down to his ankle if he straightened it out. Of course he also looks four feet tall.

The little bubble things are cute, but I don't see at all how this fits the derby besides harvest Thanksgiving and stuffing your face, or when bears eat a whole bunch and go into hibernation...

I LOVE the idea of this design, but I'd much rather have it as a print than on a shirt.. mainly because if I looked into the mirror I'd be too freaked out seeing a guy harvesting birds and maybe my soul!

I think you need to do a bit more research before you make these wild accusations. I have posted much constructive criticism this derby. In so doing, it is never my intent to be negative.

I said this "could have been fantastic" because I know Ramy can do better (I've seen it and voted for it), not because I think this is awful.
