This is a really great drawing -- I agree with one user that the style is reminiscent of the Jetsons. :D I usually don't like woot's baby blue t-shirt color, but I like your design on it. :]

Nice one. I was not quite expecting you to go so far as to claim I support terrorism, only that I am insensitive towards people who have suffered from acts of terrorism. I will concede that point; I think it does, and I should change my signature.

haha, love the shirt, and like the bikini on the lobster, but not so sure about the undies at the bottom. i'm not entirely against them being there in any form, but as they are they just feel tacked on and detract from the shirt as a whole.

My point is, if certain people don't like this type of shirt winning, they should stay off the board. If you have don't have anything nice to say...

All they are doing is upping the votes and putting money in Ramyb's already loaded bank account. I mean, do you think people actually like this garbage?

Ok, so people dislike their criticisms and decide to vote for the people criticized for such an inane reason as spite towards the critic.

Even if the critics are "upping the vote" by encouraging people like you to vote for the people they are criticizing out of spite, it does not excuse the fact that you are voting for someone not because of his work, but out of spite for others. All of these votes unfairly work against other hard working shirt designers, and even if it is the critics who make people like you want to cast arbitrary votes, that doesn't make the arbitrary voting right. Let me be generous and agree for a moment that the critics really should shut up. Even then, arbitrary voting is still bad form.

"Garbage"?!? Would you consider Michaelengilo this as well? Or perhaps DaVinci. I have studied art for many years and understand how to critique work. The negative comments displayed are amusing at best. These must not be trained eyes who are judging work.
Is one's style to be ridiculed because of it's success. What if the same was to be said about Van Gogh? Think before you ramble off and spew your nonsense!

Really? I like Ramy's designs too... but to try and say they're the same as Van Gogh or DaVinci's work is going a wee bit too far for me.

hey, i'm sorry to hijack you`re posting, (great piece by the way) but how do you make it have the ruffled look that yours has? I can't tell if the actual picture itself is ruffled, but i like how the shirt looks. I believe that i found a guide for how to do it a while ago, but i can't find it again. Any advice

Spite? Do you even know what spite it? And why is it 'wrong' if a vote is in 'spite'? No matter the reason, a vote is one more toward victory which is the goal last time I checked. Is it not? So now people are judging other's votes and claim that they are for other reasons other than the design. Do I sense jealousy from such individuals cause they can't get the same number of votes as Ramey? Maybe if other's designs were as high of quality as Ramey's then we wouldnt be having this conversation!!

Why must we (the negative commentators) remain off the boards? Please explain to me why every comment must be positive.

As I said before, I think that the comments have been very well done, not attacking people, and constructive which is much different than we (me included) normally do.

Because the design is very tall, it is extremely shrunken in the comp, but the halftones are actually fairly large (and relatively larger than I normally do)- I believe the smallest is several points in diameter.

It's rather easy to judge why some people (no one ever came close to saying all) are voting when one of them says this:

I'm sorry. I love shirt.woot, but have you ignored this entire wall of comments on how this design is off and/or on topic? If you're going to ask for details on the shirt's design, isn't that saying that you are almost positive it will place in the final three? And yet you've offered no answer to the dozens of people who want to know why this shirt--which they see as off topic--is still in the running?

That's...well, I'm not sure, but it seems like a slap in the face to those who are giving sound arguments on the shirt's apparent lack of a link to cooking.

I wouldn't use halftones if I didn't like the way they looked in print-form. It's called a closeup for a reason, which is that it's zoomed in far beyond what anyone will actually ever see. Halftones give the illusion of a gradient based on their spacing and size, and they do the same thing whether in digital or print form. That's why I continue to use them, because I have seen the way they look and I enjoy it (as do many others, from what I've seen/heard)
