He is a Tigger... and the only one.

Think about it. There is a big difference between a tiger cub in a pumpkin and a cat in a pumpkin (or a tigger). It may still look like a kitten, but if the artist claims it is a tiger, who can disagree?

And see, I think the designs that are now in the fog splay much *younger* than Draxxx's.

I'm so disappointed to see these out of the fog, I'd have bought both!!!

Come on folks, vote it back up!

This is wonderful and horrible all at once! (which is what a Halloween entry should be- right?)
This, of course, has that silly anime look- but it's quite obvious that you are using it it a 'tongue-in-cheek' style.
It grosses me out, but I would wear it- out in town, on Halloween, and other than Halloween, I would wear it for housework :-).

Barbara did get back to me, and the rejection was placed to prevent possible copyright problems as we originally thought.

While I thought I did enough to make the character different, I understand woot's standpoint with the rejection, and it is what it is.

Thanks again for all the continued support guys.

You don't care what that man thinks. He thinks these shirts are about 'art', not about what looks soooo cute on you. So few people own woot shirts anyway- if you buy this one, you'll probably be the only one of your friends who has it. Vote for the cuuuute cheetahs, you'll be the envy of everybody.

The bar says crunch but I think it looks more like a 100,000 bar due to the stringy stuff in the middle.

Just my opinion, please don't send the candy corn after me.

I think that if you continue to improve, and have unique and well drawn ideas- you will just continue to improve. And when you print- you will know that it was because you had 'the awesomest' shirt.

This was definitely a quality shirt. Chug that champagne proudly. Though- really, I think you should be chugging 'Baby Duck' brand sparkling wine :-)

I've always been made fun of for my last name, but it's also memorable, so I just called my "studio" Bassanimation. It's stuck for all these years..and it's never taken on forums ^_~.

Rankin/Bass is awesome tho!

Ahhh... that explains it... Bass as in B a$$ or Base?

I love the original Rankin/Bass... Rudulph was the absolute best, Wizard of Oz was my other favorite.. Their forrays into computer animation were academic at best... They really should have teamed up, sold out to Aardman Animations.

You're submission into the National Parks derby was great... Very well done...

Nah, it's just a more creative version of people throwing their hands in the air in frustration. I think the problem is that people are feeling there's nothing they can do. So they make a parody or a joke of it.

Just because you color it orange and make the ears a bit more round, does not make it a tiger.
Baby tigers still look like tigers. Her design was a cat.

Nice shirt though, disappointed the other got rejected, especially since creepy mask are in like every halloween movie..

Yeah. It looks like this one's going to pull another "X-Treme National Park." It's probably going to stay in the top position/3 hours for the remainder of the derby, and end just out of the fog. I saw that the park got an honorable mention. Does that mean they're printing it? Do you know when it will be sold?

Bass like the fish ^^.

As for pandering...well...it is sort of gut wrenching to punish the body and soul for these derbys each week, only to flounder while the same people (who knowingly pander) seem to be unbeatable. :\ I don't plan on making this a habit, but I figured rather than join the discussion fray I would just make this thing and let it speak for me ^^;. I hate to be such an arse..but my goodness it's starting to get to me..

Hahah, I dont know if this is as good as an exploding bear, but it does seem like it'll mimick the effect.

The HM on the bear means it will go into the Second Chance Derby, which will be held soon I think :D. Lots of great designs will compete though, so I hope Mr. Bearsplosion can hold up without the derby theme behind him.

Now, I think Woot's REAL problem is this: The derby -usually- tends to favor those who submit first.

My boyfriend thinks that a vote should = payment up front, and that may fix some of the current voting issues on Woot... The people who throw votes without thinking would not have that option, and you would also not be able to use dummy accounts (unless you're made of cash). Granted, it would be an unpopular rule at first, but if you think about why we're voting it makes perfect sense. You vote because you want to buy the shirt...(or, supposedly).

This isnt DeviantArt..we're not here to vote for cool or pretty. We're here to vote for "I want to wear that." I tend to agree that if you put a vote on something, putting your money where your mouth is would end a looot of issues here.

I absolutely love your style as always, but this one might be a bit morbid for me, haha. It really puts the cruelty of pumpkin carving into perspective though, I'll give you that. How would we like it if our guts were pulled out through our heads? I will assuredly think twice this year before picking up my carving knife.

Just trying to get to know you a bit better. You see, if you WERE submitting and your creations were being out voted by these trite and over-used devices, I would understand your ire. But you are simply standing on principle for the sake of principle.

So it's not understandable to stand for something on principle? Being principled is a bad thing? That explains why you don't get it.

Most of the people who have a stake in the derby financially keep their mouths shut, because they know how childish this community is. If ArtStuff100 said "this leaps into the vacuum" they'd be called jealous and their subs would suffer in votes. the people who care care for them. They (and I am one) want to see good work prevail. but to you, they're only allowed to care that horrible stuff is winning if they're losing? That could easily be equated to sour grapes. The fact that so many non-submitters are so offended, however, means it goes deeper than just winning a grand. And it SHOULD go deeper than that.
