I know there are a lot of Winter Wonderland entries, but I wanted to focus on the "new bird" that replaced the bluebird

Re: Inspired by The Cat Carol

Wow . . . what utter garbage. Seriously, woot, we need a no cats and mice rule for the derbies. This has gotten old. The derby is in danger of becoming irrelevant if the same styles and content are submitted week after week.

Alas, there can. Her shirts consistently sell out faster than anybody's.

I mean, they *could* have a slew of robot voters, but they also have a slew of people putting down money for shirts afterwards.

Because the turtle is so low to the ground he is decorating the tree's shadow instead of the actual tree. :D

Still, isn't there gradient issues with this design?

Re: Inspired by: Let it Snow, Let it Snow...v2.0

The weather outside is frightful… let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Thanks for those that commented on v1.0. I did take your advice and played with the shapes. Hopefully, they still fall within the realm of the printable as far as the line width goes. Also, I added a sixth color, v1.0 has only 5. In addition to the sixth color, I changed the layer order to place the darker colors in the back. That was one of my least favorite parts of v.1. I experimented with navy, it just didn’t work for me, the purity and freshness was lost with darker shirt color.

Oh god, I see it too! Poor notched horsie.

Even though the rabbit looks a little bit unpolished compared to the birds, I would buy this in a heartbeat.

I like the side placement. You offer something different from the norm. Sure you may have done similar things before, but this is good. You get the picture it seem very fluid. Well done!

Thanks for commenting. Check out v2.0. Maybe you kind folks will like it better. BTW, I did actually draw each of the 48 flakes. I did delete one on v2.0, it was too detailed to survive the tweak.

This has always been one of my favorite Christmas songs. When I saw the theme, and even though I knew it would take forever, I just couldn't NOT do it.

It also does not successfully illustrate the song. the song states that the cat dug a hole in a snow drift. This is not a snow drift.
