Heya, peeps? Doodz? Bros & girlz?
Lemme rap atcha for a moment:
IF YOU DON'T PAY FOR OVERNIGHT SHIPPING, THEN EXPECT YOUR PACKAGE TO TAKE 2-3 WEEKS TO REACH YOU. AND DON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT IT, BECAUSE IT'S FREE SHIPPING AND YOU HAD THE OPTION OF PAYING FOR QUICKER SHIPPING.
(but if you paid for overnight shipping and it's late, then EMAIL WOOT (service@woot.com) with your complaint)
Gods, SERIOUSLY.

xmidianx wrote:This is my first shirt order. I went with the free shipping, so I'm not worried about the shirt taking a while to get here once actually shipped, but my order still isn't even showing as 'shipped'. I know it can take up to 5 business days, but is it common to take longer than that to go out?
It happens. Sometimes, I receive my shirt before the tracking number ever registers with fedex. Sometimes, I get a tracking number and watch the shirt sit and sit and sit in some mail depot somewhere. Sometimes, it takes a shirt barely a week to get to me, yet at other times it takes as long as a month (with the shirt not shipping out for a week). I tend to ignore a tracking email until it's two weeks since the purchase was made.
It's possible that woot wasn't expecting so many shirts of whatever size to sell, has run out of stock, and is printing up new ones. This would mean that there is a random selection of people--depending on order time and shirt size--that have their shirt shipments delayed until more shirts are printed up. It's happened on occasion with popular shirts.
You can always send an email to service@woot.com, if you like, with a polite question and your purchase and tracking info. It never hurts to ask woot what's up.

I emailed customer service and got a nice, ambiguous answer of "we will be shipping these soon and your tracking information will update when we do." That reply was received on Tuesday, with nary a word since.
I'm usually all about giving the merchant the benefit of the doubt, especially Woot, since I've ordered tons of stuff from them, but this is a bit stupid.
What's the sense in offering a holiday shirt on 12/1, not having any in stock and likely not shipping them to arrive before the holiday in question? Geez.
it is the largest octopus ever recorded.
